Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya dalam meningkatkan karakter peserta didik dengan mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai ketuhanan dan kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan alasan bahwa penggunaan metode ini dapat membantu peneliti dalam menggambarkan secara rasional dan teoritis tentang fakta, data, objek material yang berupa ungkapan bahasa atau wacana melalui interpretasi yang tepat dan sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengimplementasian nilai -nilai ketuhanan dan kemanusiaan dalam meningkatkan karakter toleransi peserta didik di sekolah sangat penting untuk dilakukan, karena dengan adanya pengimplementasian nilai -nilai ketuhanan dan kemanusiaan tersebut bisa membangun karakter toleransi, kemandirian, disiplin, dan peduli dengan sesama. Penanaman karakter toleransi peserta didik dengan pengimplementasian nilai -nilai ketuhanan dan kemanusiaan di sekolah dapat dilakukan melalui proses kegiatan belajar mengajar.
Character building guides students to become human beings with character, and simplistic values are a person's habit of behaving according to their needs and abilities. This study aims to determine how students' character development is based on the value of simplicity in SDN Gedongkuning. The research was conducted in field research with exploratory qualitative research. The data collection technique in this study interviewed several informants: the school principal, our students and teachers. Data analysis techniques in this study used the theory of Miles and Huberman's data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study can be concluded that SDN Gedongkuning applies the character value of simplicity, including 1) Getting used to students helping friends who are in trouble; 2) Assign students to dress modestly and avoid using items such as shoes, bags or jewellery that are too expensive; 3) Encouraging students to bring pocket money reasonably. By applying the value of simplicity so that there are no gaps between students and others.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan model pendidikan nilai humanis-religius berbasis kultur madrasah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Proses analisis data dengan menerapkan metode Miles and Huberman, sedangkan tahapan analisisnya dengan model Spradley, dan dalam analisis data ini, juga dilengkapi dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dikemukakan sebagai berikut. Pengembangan model pendidikan nilai humanis-religius dapat ditemukan dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah antara lain: (1) memotret kultur madrasah, yang meliputi aspek artifak dan aktivitas kultur; (2) penentuan visi, misi madrasah, dan standar, serta program dalam bidang artifak; dan (3) implementasi pendidikan nilai humanisreligius ini dirancang dan dilaksanakan melalui saluran kultur madrasah. Kata Kunci: model pendidikan nilai humanis-religius, kultur madrasah DEVELOPING A MODEL OF HUMANISTIC RELIGIOUS VALUE EDUCATION BASED ON ISLAMIC SCHOOL CULTURE Abstract: This study aims to find a model of humanistic-religious value education based on the Islamic school culture. The method employed was the research and development using the qualitative approach. The process of the data analysis applied the method by Miles and Huberman, while the analysis steps employed the model by Spradley; the data analysis was also supplemented by the descriptive statistical analysis. The findings of the study are as follows. The development of a model of humanistic-religious value education was made through the steps of: (1) describing the Islamic school culture, including the material culture and behavioral culture; (2) setting the Islamic school’s vision, mission; and (3) designing and implementing the humanistic-religious value education through the Islamic school culture channel.
