In Sesarma (Geosesarma) perracae Nobili, 1903 the ovigerous females live in burrows containing fresh‐water into which the young are released. The larval life is greatly abbreviated and the larval stages live entirely on stored yolk. The megalopa stage is almost unrecognizable.
