TIndonesia’s degree of competitiveness in attracting investment is relatively low compared to other ASEAN countries, e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, despite the country’s potential resources. Specifically, low labour productivity in industrial sector led to lower degree of investment competitiveness in Indonesia. Thus, this study aims to examine the transformation of economic structures and factors determining the regional labor productivity in industrial sector in Indonesia. This study employs multiple regression method with panel data approach on 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2014 to 2019. This study suggests that, in general, the decline of agriculture sector share in the Eastern part of Indonesia was greater than the Western part of Indonesia. Furthermore, the composition of labor absorption in Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua, and Kalimantan decline periodically. This research also suggests that the factors leading to improvement of productivity in the Industrial sector in Western part of Indonesia is real wages. Moreover, provision of electricity is the contributing factor and hampers labor productivity in the Eastern part of Indonesia. This study further concluded that supply of electricity is substitutional to labor which result in the decline of productivity
The highly valued sea cucumber Holothuria scabra is currently listed as endangered (EN) species in the IUCN Red List due to overfishing in most of its native locations, spurring the development of H. scabra aquaculture to ensure sustainability of the industry and species in the wild. This review presents a summary on the biology of Holothuria scabra and recent advancements of its aquaculture technology. The life cycle, morphology and internal anatomy of H. scabra are discussed. Recent findings on the reproductive behavior and mechanism of the population are reviewed together with the possible factors that influence gamete maturation and spawning events. This review also covers the notable recent advances on H. scabra aquaculture technology such as the studies on broodstock diet which indicated bacteria and carbonate minerals to be the main diets; the favorable polyculture results of H. scabra juveniles with red tilapia and Kappaphycus striatum; and the discovery and subsequent patent of H. scabra oocyte maturation inducing substance prepared from sea urchin spawns.
Pekerjaan yang dilakukan tenaga kerja pada salah satu bagian produksi perusahaan pengalengan ikan dalam keadaan berdiri dengan aktifitas yang bersifat monoton dan membutuhkan ketelitian serta konsentrasi, dapat memberikan rasa jenuh bosan dan cepat lelah pada pekerja yang dapat berujung pada timbulnya kelelahan serta dapat memberikan resiko keluhan otot. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelelahan kerja berdasarkan swedish occupational fatigue inventory (SOFI) serta mengetahui keluhan secara fisik yang dirasakan tenaga kerja pada salah satu bagian produksi industri pengalengan ikan menggunakan questionnaire nordic body map (QNBM) dan mengetahui korelasi keduanya. Hasil pengumpulan data menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kerja memiliki resiko kelelahan sedang dengan adanya keluhan yang dirasakan tenaga kerja. Hasil perhitungan korelasi menunjukkan bahwa kelelahan dan keluhan secara fisik memiliki hubungan yang kuat, baik yang dirasakan oleh tenaga tenaga kerja laki-laki maupun tenaga kerja perempuan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,799 dan 0,982.
Sistem perawatan yang dilakukan selama ini adalah bersifat breakdown maintenance yaitu pemeliharaan yang dilakukan setelah mesin mengalami kerusakan. Sistem ini belum memberikan data akurat kapan suatu mesin atau komponen mengalami kerusakan, sehingga strategi yang tepat untuk menjaga mesin tetap beroperasi adalah menentukan interval waktu perawatan yang optimal.Hasil analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) maka didapat komponen kritis pada Mesin Screw Press yaitu Komponen Worm Screw, Besi Shaft dan Press Cage diperoleh waktu penggantian Komponen Worm Screw 32 hari, Besi Shaft 68 hari, Press Cage 48 hari pada Mesin Screw Press 1 ; untuk Mesin Screw Press 2 Komponen Worm Screw 52 hari, Besi Shaft 128 hari, Press Cage 52 hari ; untuk Mesin Screw Press 3 Komponen Worm Screw dilakukan penggantian selama 56 hari, Besi Shaft 104 hari, Press Cage 64 hari ; untuk Mesin Screw Press 4 pada Komponen Worm Screw dilakukan penggantian selama 56 hari, Besi Shaft 72 hari, Press Cage 74 hari. Untuk Mesin Screw Press 5 pada Komponen Worm Screw dilakukan penggantian selama 50 hari, Besi Shaft 80 hari, Press Cage 92 ; hari dan untuk Mesin Screw Press 6 pada Komponen Worm Screw dengan interval waktu penggantian selama 52 hari, Besi Shaft 72 hari dan Press Cage 58 hari. Natural fiber as a sound-absorbing biocompisite material is believed to not only reduce noise pollution but also to absorb heat. There are many underutilized coconut husks, which so far the use of coconut husks is only conventional. The focus of this research is to find the right solution in the use of coconut fiber as well as composite material engineering for technological purposes. The research method will use pure experiments using controlled specimens in the mechanical Engineering laboratory of ITB, including mechanicals tests, soundproofing. The results of he tensile test are the tensile strength of the largest coconut fiber composite fiber is found in the fiber volume fraction of 25% with a value of 59.072 Mpa, followed by 20% fiber fraction with a value of 59.025 Mpa, 15% fiber fraction with a value of 56.736 Mpa, fiber fraction 10% with a value of 56.807 Mpa, 5% fiber fraction with a value 53.736. and for he results of the soundproof test with frequency of 250 Hz – 2000 Hz at 5% fiber fraction, it has an absorption coefficient value of 0,03, 10% fiber fraction, has an absorption coefficient value of 0.18, 15% fiber fraction has an absorption coefficient value of 0.18. 0.18, the fiber fraction of 20 has an absorption coefficient of 0.22, the fiber fraction of 25% has an absorption coefficient of 0.28.
