O artigo buscou identificar na política nacional de saúde, delineada a partir dos anos 2000, as atribuições da atenção básica no atendimento às urgências.Procurou-se compreender como a produção normativa relacionada às políticas de urgência repercute na atenção básica e os desdobramentos para a gestão e organização desses serviços em âmbito local.O percurso metodológico orientou-se pelo campo da análise de políticas, privilegiando o aspecto formal e temporal das normativas.Foram selecionadas dezenove portarias e documentos relacionados à política de urgência e de atenção básica.Também foram feitas entrevitas semiestruturadas com gestores da atenção básica de quatro município da região metropolitana do estado do Rio de Janeiro.A análise documental evidenciou as influências da política de urgência na conformação da política de atenção básica.Entretanto, a implantação dessas diretrizes configura-se como desafio para a gestão local, tendo em vista a necessidade de transformação do modelo assistencial vigente, o financiamento, a adequação da estrutura física e insumos para manejo das urgências nas unidades básicas de saúde.A temática sugere que há uma inflexão na política nacional de atenção básica que merece ser aprofundada.
Este estudo promove um levantamento dos principais equipamentos de proteção ao trabalhador, necessários à atividade de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento de fármacos, entendida basicamente como compreendendo atividades de química e biologia (ensaios farmacológicos pré-clínicos). Os itens foram compilados a partir das recomendações vigentes nas legislações que tratam da saúde e segurança do trabalhador. O estudo ressalta também a importância do gerenciamento de resíduos produzidos por laboratórios de pesquisa.
