Hypertension in the elderly in Central Sulawesi Province as of 2019 was 213,686 people. Hypertension exercise is effective in decrease hypertension in the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypertension exercise on systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the elderly who suffer from hypertension. This research is descriptive-quantitative with a pre-experimental design using one group time series design (Pre-Test and Post-Test), at the Tresna Werdha Tentena Social Institution, July 2020. The population is 63 and The sample is 15 elderly people. Data analysis used the one-sample dependent t-test. The results of the analysis of research data that the blood pressure of the elderly in the systolic pretest obtained a systolic t value of 4.08 and a diastolic value of 1.57, with acceptance criteria (t > 2.14), then the systolic value means that Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a difference between pretest and post-test, As for the diastolic value, Ho is accepted, meaning that there is no difference between the pre-test and post-test. The conclusion is that elderly hypertension exercise is quite effective for controlling hypertension in the elderly, especially for reducing the level of systolic blood pressure in the elderly, if it is carried out regularly and is controlled and sustained, while for diastolic blood pressure, the level of effectiveness obtained is unknown.
Pengetahuan terkait kecukupan kebutuhan gizi pada anak sangat bermanfaat untuk mencegah kekurangan gizi pada anak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan selama 2 hari pada tanggal 25 sampai dengan tanggal 27 bulan Oktober tahun 2021 kepada orang tua dan anak di wilayah Puskesmas Sangurara Kota Palu. Total durasi waktu kegiatan selama 8 jam, yang dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Sangurara Kota Palu dan Sekolah Dasar di wilayah Puskesmas Sangurara Kota Palu. Anak-anak siswa-siswi Sekolah Dasar dan orang tua di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sangurara, memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang sangat tinggi mengenai kebutuhan gizi yang seimbang dan siswa-siswi antusias mengikuti penerimaan materi yang diberikan, topik yang paling banyak ingin diketahui oleh siswa yaitu terkait; macam-macam makanan yang mengandung banyak gizi, cara membersihkan makanan yang benar, dan gizi yang ada di jajanan sekolah. Siswa-siswi telah menerima materi edukasi terkait keseimbangan gizi namun masih sangat memerlukan pendampingan terkait tingkat kesehatan yang dapat di bangun melalui asupan gizi.
Fulfillment of nutrition in children under five years of age is a factor that needs to be considered in maintaining health because toddlerhood is a period of development that is vulnerable to nutrition. Malnutrition is a lack of nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, fats, and vitamins needed by the body. The case of death that occurs in children under five is one of the consequences of poor nutrition. Service activities have been carried out from October 2 to 28, 2021 for parents of toddlers in the Kamonji Health Center area of Palu City. In the implementation of service activities, parents have a very high curiosity about balanced nutritional needs and understand how to modify food, modify family recipes to increase toddlers' appetite, and practice healthy food processing methods for toddlers. Providing information through education and training aims to increase knowledge, then it will raise awareness and in the end someone will practice it according to the knowledge he has.
