Bencana gempa bumi lombok tanggal 5 agustus 2018 menyisakan permasalahan belum pulihnya perekonomian ntb pasca gempa. Sebagai provinsi yang ditopang oleh sektor pariwisata, lesunya pariwisata akibat gempa juga berimplikasi pada lemahnya sector-sektor ekonomi lainnya. Program pemulihan umkm (usaha mikro kecil menengah) dan ikm (industri kecil menengah) yang adil, merata, dan tepat sasaran merupakan strategi yang diambil untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Strategi ini dirasa paling mampu untuk memberikan sinergi dengan sektor-sektor ekonomi lainnya, tidak terkecuali dengan sektor pariwisata. Keberadaan umkm dan ikm sering kali terkait erat dengan keberadaan destinasi pariwisata yang menjadi salah satu andalan penggerak ekonomi ntb. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan deskripsi sebaran umkm dan ikm yang ada di ntb kepada berbagai pihak, sehingga memudahkan pelaksanaan program pemulihan umkm dan ikm guna menggerakkan kembali perekonomian. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, metode pengumpulan data yaitu studi literatur, teknik analisis data menggunakan crosstab. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan persentase 3 dari 10 kota/kabupaten yang memiliki jumlah umkm terbanyak adalah lombok timur 24,85 %, lombok tengah 19,94 %, lombok barat 18,66 %, sedangkan ikm adalah mataram 18,75 %, lombok tengah 18,21 %, lombok barat 15,54 %. Namun jika dilihat dari dampak kerusakan gempa yang ditimbulkan, maka daerah lombok utara, lombok barat dan lombok timur merupakan daerah yang paling berhak untuk mendapatkan pemulihan umkm dan ikm
This study was intended to reveal the profile of students' misconception of the concept of dynamic electricity in one private university in Cirebon city. In the study of physics, the misconception will hamper the achievement of physics learning goals. Misconceptions will greatly hinder the process of acceptance and assimilation of knowledge in students, so that they will hinder the success to learn more. It is necessary to conduct research on the analysis of misconception of mathematics teacher candidates on the concept of dynamic electricity. Misconception is defined as a student conception that is incompatible with the simplified conception of physicists. To identify misconceptions experienced by students, multiple choice diagnostic tests equipped with a Certainty Response Index (CRI) can be conducted. The data obtained is then completed with interview data. This research is a descriptive research which is a research to give a description about phenomenon, or facts under study by describing the value of the variable without comparing. The study found that 81% of students' have a misconception in the sub-chapter of electric current, and 50% in the concept of electric potential difference sub-chapter.
Purpose
This paper investigates how to design traditional ready-to-eat food packaging by manipulating its shape, font and slogan to promote consumer buying intention and willingness to pay (WTP).
Design/methodology/approach
Two package designs, interplaying the square shapes (vertical vs horizontal), font formality (formal vs less formal/casual) and slogans (ethno-positioning vs short and catchy), were created and tested in an online experiment with 483 participants.
Findings
The results revealed that the differed package designs elicited relatively equal levels of attractiveness to consumers and their buying intentions. However, the designs significantly differentiated consumers' WTP. The results further show the significant direct and indirect effects on WTP of packaging attractiveness when it is moderated by package designs and mediated by buying intention. However, the varied package designs did not have significant direct or indirect impacts on WTP when mediated by packaging attractiveness and buying intention.
Practical implications
The vertical square-shaped packaging, written in a less formal font and highlighting a short and catchy slogan, is more financially promising for marketers to get a better price for local food products perceived as hedonic and bought impulsively on casual occasions. Furthermore, besides prominent package design elements such as font, color, size, material and picture, packaging designers or marketing practitioners should consider other supporting factors, such as shelf efficiency.
Originality/value
This study complements existing studies of “cue utilization theory” and “packaging design theory” by demonstrating the importance of extrinsic packaging cues, such as shape, font style and slogan, in improving consumers' WTP for traditional food products. The study also fills some gaps in the literature by exploring the direct, mediating and moderating relationships between package design, packaging attractiveness, buying intention and WTP, especially in an emerging market such as Indonesia.
Promosi kesehatan merupakan langkah awal pada upaya mewujudkan peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat, Peran Bidan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tempel pada upaya promosi deteksi dini kanker didapatkan masih kurang. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menggali tentang kebijakan program dan peran bidan pada upaya promosi deteksi dini kanker rahim, dengan metode studi kasus, tehnik sampling yang digunakan adalah purpossive sampling dengan pendekatan Indepth Interviews (IDIs atau wawancara mendalam) dilakukan pada 5 Informan, yaitu pada 1 bidan koordinator puskesmas, 2 bidan koordinator program Promosi kesehatan dan Posyandu, dan 1 bidan pelaksana program, dan 1 triangulasi sumber yaitu pejabat struktural Puskesmas.Didapatkan bahwa pelaksaan kebijakan program belum merata, hal tersebut disebabkan karena keterbatasan sumberdaya tenaga bidan yang masih merangkap jabatan pada setiap jobdiskripsi tugas, sehingga cakupan yang menjadi target sasaran hanya bisa dilaksanakan pada batas program minimal yaitu promosi tahunan yang diprogramkan 2 kali pertahun.Selama peiode 2019 tidak didapatkan hasil Pemeriksaan IVA maupun papsmear yang mengarah pada tanda keganasan. Interest gaps exist between the university and the small firms when running a business assistance program, leading to the importance of practical guidance that could accommodate both partners’ interests. However, there is relatively little literature about how the university team should implement business assistance to a small partnering firm. Accordingly, this research used three stages and a mixed-method approach to solve the problem, involving qualitative and quantitative techniques and action research. This study introduced PROSEM, an acronym for problem rooting, solution treatment, and measurement, to guide university business assistance to small firms by adopting the design thinking paradigm. The results revealed a significant impact on the SME’s business performance. The PROSEM process further proved that a measurable and well-planned treatment based on the root causes could increase revenue and production volume and reduce the returned product rate. At the same time, this study enriches researchers’ knowledge and skills in developing the concept and guidelines of a systematic problem-solving method using unique, real cases in the small business community. As such, the PROSEM affirms that design thinking is an open and adjustable concept which can be embedded and modified in various problem-solving procedures.
