Era revolusi industri 4.0 merupakan tantangan bagi suatu negara untuk mengubah model bisnis konvensional kedalam sistem berteknologi. Penggunaan teknologi inovatif di bidang keuangan (Financial Technology) menuntut model bisnis konvensional untuk segera berubah kearah moderat. FinTech muncul seiring perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat yang didominasi oleh pengguna teknologi informasi untuk menjadi penghubung antara sektor finansial dengan pengguna atau masyarakat umum. Indonesia merupakan pasar besar bagi FinTech seiring dengan meningkatnya mayoritas pengguna teknologi internet untuk transaksi bisnis.FinTech sangat berpotensi menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah kekurangan permodalan bagi UMKM. Fintech diharapakan menjadi altenatif solusi bagi UMKM bertempat tinggal jauh dari pusat kota untuk memperoleh permodalan. Berdasarkan pada fenomena diatas, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya, telah melakukan edukasi mengenai peran FinTech sebagai alternative permodalan bagi UMKM di Desa Kerinjing, Kabupaten Indralaya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu tanggal 12 November 2019.Peserta terdiri dari 0 orang pelaku UMKM di Desa Kerinjing dan sekitarnya. Tim pelaksana memberikan materi terkait dengan apa yang dimaksud dengan financial technology, manfaat dari fintech dan dampak dari fintech. Peserta dapat membedakan fintech legal dan illegal.Fintech legal yang dimaksud adalah fintech yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Sebagai evaluasi kegiatan, tim memberikan form kuisioner yang diisi oleh peserta. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, pemahaman peserta setelah diberikan edukasi Fintech telah mencapai 70 %.
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Kerinjing, Kecamatan Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir yang merupakan salah satu desa binaan dari Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya. Pelatihan pengelolaan kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat, khususnya ibu rumah tangga untuk memanfaatkan sampah rumah tangga menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat seperti membuat kompos dengan menggunakan metode komposting. Metode komposting merupakan teknik menghasilkan kompos yang digunakan sebagai pupuk maupun penguat struktur tanah. Komposting digunakan untuk mempercepat proses degradasi bahan organik dengan bantuan mikroba. Dengan adanya pembinaan tentang sampah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk kompos, maka akan mengurangi volume sampah rumah tangga yang sekarang ini semakin meningkat seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the policy rate, inflation, exchange rate, and world oil prices on the stock return of 20 companies listed on the State-Owned Enterprises of Indonesia (BUMN-20) Index from July 2016 to June 2021. We divided into three periods that are all periods, before and during pandemic COVID-19. The population in this study is companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample is determined by using purposive sampling with a total amount of 20 companies and total data is 846. This study used quantitative data analysis in the form of time-series data and documenting methods in obtaining the data. The analytical tools in this study are using multiple regression analysis. The result shows that the policy rate has a significant positive effect on stock returns, inflation and exchange rate have a significant negative effect on stock returns, and world oil prices do not appear any significant effect on the stock return of the BUMN-20 Index. While before and during the COVID-19 pandemic imply only an exchange rate that has a significant and negative effect on stock return. This implies that the COVID-19 pandemic does not appear a significant effect on the performance of BUMN-20 return.
The aim of this study is to find out the effect of financial inclusion on bank efficiency in Indonesia. Data from 26 banks for the period of 2011 to 2016 is used to measure bank efficiency using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). While the data from the World Bank is used to calculate the ratio of outstanding loans of small and medium enterprises to total outstanding loans in banks to measure financial inclusion index. Panel data regression is done to analyze the effect and the result shows that financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on bank efficiency where an increase in financial inclusion could improve bank efficiency. The result implies that the government must present a conducive financial environment for the implementation of the SNKI program that can improve financial inclusion and bank efficiency.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, SME in Indonesia became one type of business that was able to adapt and survive and even become a solution for improving the national economy. Fintech has supported SME to develop their business through collaboration with e-commerce partners. This is very helpful for SME during the Covid-19 pandemic. In increasing the capacity of SME actors towards fintech, it is necessary to provide permanent assistance such as digital training. It is intended that actors have digital skills which are expected to have an impact on their financial capabilities. Ulak Banding Village is one of the villages in South Sumatra, Ogan Ilir Regency where SME in the village still lack information about fintech. The problem of SME in Ulak Banding Village in terms of financing can be overcome with capital assistance from peer to peer (P2P) lending and crowdfunding. As well as to increase revenue using digital payment transfers through digital wallet applications, marketplaces, and social media. The training participants are expected to play an active role in increasing capital and expanding their business and transmitting the knowledge they have acquired to other SME.
