21st century education is expected to produce capable human resources skills of the 21st century. Teachers should integrate information technology means to help learn participants with technology-based teaching materials, methods, and media. The research aims to describe the PBL-based Flipbook E-Module to empower the critical thinking skills of primary school IPA learning. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data and data sources are taken from interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. Data and data sources are taken from interviews and questionnaires for teachers. Then, the data was analyzed with interacttf analysis milles &huberman. The results show that PBL-based Flipbook e-modules can empower the critical thinking skills of primary school IPA learning as a 21st century digital media innovation. Flipbook-based e-modules as a learning medium combined with text, narrative, video, practice and integration with learning models. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emodul Flipbook berbasis PBL dapat memberdayakan keterampilan berpikir kritis pembelajaran IPA sekolah dasar sebagai inovasi media digital abad 21. E-modul berbasis Flipbook sebagai media pembelajaran yang dipadukan teks, narasi, video, soal latihan dan integrasi dengan model pembelajaran. E-modul Flipbook berbasis PBL sebagai solusi efektif pembelajaran IPA abad 21 sesuai dengan karakter materi dan gaya belajar peserta didik abad 21 sebagai digital native.
The threat of the world energy crisis is a topic of discussion that needs to be emphasized in classroom learning. In addition, the integration of technology becomes one of the things that must be connected to the demands of 21st-century learning. This study aims to analyze the use of problem-based learning flipbook e-modules in thematic learning "Always Save Energy". This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design that tests the effectiveness of the e-module in improving critical thinking skills in thematic learning "Always Save Energy". This research was conducted on fourth-grade elementary school students who were taken by purposive sampling and came from four different schools. The control group came from 1 school, namely 31 students, and the experimental group consisted of 3 schools, totalling 70 students. Test techniques become primary data collection data, while observations and interviews become research-supporting data. The data analysis technique was carried out by testing the independent sample t-test. The results showed that the flipbook e-module based on problem-based learning greatly impacted the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. The features presented in the electronic module make students enthusiastic about participating in the learning process to form a positive learning attitude in problem-solving.
Principals of Elementary Schools have an effect on improving the quality of education. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The aim of this research is to describe the leadership of elementary schools in Indonesia and China. Data and data sources are taken from interviews and questionnaires. Sources of literature review data in the form of journals, books, and articles are more effective. Qualitative research methods to enrich information data in depth about the problem to be solved. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, interviews, and literature review. The research data analysis technique is an interactive model of Miles and Huberman which begins with collecting raw data, displaying data, reducing data, verifying data, and concluding data. The results showed that the principal’s leadership influenced the improvement of the education quality of school institutions. Primary school leadership in Indonesia and China share a common commitment to realizing the vision and mission for the advancement of school quality, communicating with teachers about the vision and mission to be achieved, empowering the work climate for teachers professional performance. The difference between principal’s leadership in Indonesia and China lies in the dedication of working time in China is longer than the working time of principals in Indonesia. Indonesia with democratic leadership while China with instructional leadership It is hoped that school principals can improve performance and leadership quality for the advancement of education in Indonesia so as to produce quality and competitive output in 21st century life.
