ZusammenfassungMit 33% sind hämatopoetische Tumoren die häufigsten Neoplasien bei der Hauskatze. Das Lymphosarkom macht 90% dieser hämatopoetischen Tumoren aus. In der Regel kommt es in den viszeralen Organen, im Knochenmark und in den Lymphknoten vor. Das intrakraniale Lymphosarkom ist in der Literatur sehr spärlich dokumentiert. Zerebrale Lymphosarkome betreffen gewöhnlich die Meningen, den Choroidplexus und das Gehirnparenchym.Zwei Katzen mit meningealen Tumoren (Verdachtsdiagnose: Meningiom) wurden kurativ bestrahlt. Die Wahl der Therapie basierte auf computertomographischen Darstellungen. Eine histologische Untersuchung konnte aufgrund der Tumorlokalisation nicht durchgeführt werden. Beide Hirntumoren gingen rasch in Remission. Kurze Zeit später wurden an anderen Lokalisationen Veränderungen gefunden, die sich histologisch als Lymphosarkom präsentierten.Eine nachfolgende Chemotherapie brachte nur eine vorübergehende Besserung der klinischen Symptome. Die Frage nach primärer multizentrischer Erkrankung oder Primärerkrankung mit sekundär systemischer Beteiligung bleibt offen. In Zukunft wird es von großer Wichtigkeit sein, Hirntumoren zu biopsieren, um die beste Kombination der Therapie wählen und weitere diagnostische Untersuchungen hinzufügen zu können.
