This article empirically analyzes a model of knowledge transfer activation based on trade in knowledge market perspective. We aim to provide insights into trade in the knowledge market through an empirical analysis. Using a research model with a theoretical basis on knowledge sharing culture and trade in knowledge market, we conducted an empirical study using data on enterprises' knowledge management systems (KMSs). The results revealed that 62.6% of the variance in knowledge transfer activation was explained by the items of knowledge organization, knowledge strategy, KMS, and knowledge reward through knowledge sharing culture and trade in knowledge market. This suggests that horizontal organization and a strategy that pursues an organization's objectives positively impact knowledge sharing culture, while knowledge technology (KMS) and reward positively affect the trade in knowledge market. We therefore conclude that trade in knowledge market is an important factor to activate knowledge transfer. This article contributes to lay the foundation for future work on empirical study of knowledge transfer based on trade in knowledge market.

Information technology and knowledge transfer are main sources of convergence. There are many articles which studied outcomes of convergence while there are few articles that try to study the process of convergence. The purpose of this study is to investigate how convergence is dynamically formalized. For the analysis, we used Institutional Analysis and Development(IAD) framework from the point of convergence. IAD framework could synthetically study the origin and the process of convergence. We investigated the case of sillicon valley whether or not dynamics of ICT convergence could be explicable by IAD framework. The results shows that ICT technology and knowledge could be the enabler for the formation of convergence.ICT technology accelerates convergence and knowledge convergence from information converge different technologies and industries. This article provides a theoretical foundation for future research to analyze dynamics of ICT convergence by the IAD framework. For the future work, it is recommended that a study is to be empirically analyzed the dynamics of ICT convergence. This study discusses the employability of the workforce in relation to information communication technology. There is a difference in understanding in terms of items of importance/satisfaction during/after employment processes when considering organizations related to the information technology workforce. An empirical analysis of Korean employability based on literature from Asia was conducted. It indicated that differences in the perception of the 12 items comprising importance and satisfaction related to employability could potentially lead to job mismatch. We acquired an adequate sample of 296 respondents, consisting of various organizational employees. The sample was balanced in terms of gender and large or small/medium organizations. After establishing the rank of preferences among items, a difference analysis between/among groups through demographic variables was conducted. As a result, the need for additional disciplines or courses, the arrangement of preferred rank, and methods for enhancing skills from university or education/practice institutes for “interpersonal or team-working skills” and to “communicate effectively” with a higher rank among the general skills of importance/satisfaction were derived. Therefore, technology did not replace human personalities, communication skills, and human attributes such as human cooperation. This study can help address labor shortages and support sustainable employment in organizations, even if an empirical test is rare compared to descriptive statistical analyses.
