There is public awareness about salt, but not about the term "sodium." More salt and sodium are consumed than what is reported and there are no prospects of reducing that consumption. Although it is understood that excessive consumption of salt is a health risk, participants do not perceive that they are at risk. Replacing the word "sodium" with the word "salt" would facilitate food selection.
Este articulo explica cómo las actoras feministas se identificaron con el discurso del sumak kawsay de las mujeres indígenas alrededor del cuidado del medio ambiente, la infancia y las mujeres que viven en las comunidades, vinculándolo con la despenalización del aborto y presentándolo bajo la propuesta de “gestión de la vida”. Este fue un momento histórico en para las mujeres campesinas y urbanas que habían sido fuertemente cuestionadas por el gobierno de la revolución ciudadana en el Ecuador. Así, luego de hacer un pequeño recorrido histórico por hitos de los feminismos, se explica cómo fue este proceso de identificación.
En este artículo se plantea que, como efecto de las delegaciones que hace el Estado a ONG e Iglesias progresistas en temas de derechos sexuales y reproductivos en la provincia de Chimborazo, existen disidencias de los discursos oficiales alrededor de la sexualidad y el aborto por parte de mujeres indígenas quienes han adoptado prácticas y repertorios modernos y cercanos al feminismo.
