Mangrove ecosystem in Indramayu coast has function to preserve coastal area from abrasion and sedimentation as destructive hazard, because mangrove has ability to reduce impact of abrasion and sedimentation in coastal ecosystem. Before 2018, Indramayu regency had shore line coast until 115.5 km, but abrasion caused the degradation of shore line in Indramayu coast until more than 20%. This research aimed to analysis correlation between mangrove ecosystem with shoreline change in Indramayu Coast. The research method used vegetation analysis and mapping analysis. The results showed that (1) the degradation mangrove area was shown by mangrove areal 7688,38 ha (1990) to 862.20 ha (2016), (2) the shoreline change had potential abrasion reaches 255,2-277,65 ha and accretion reaches 40,6 – 315,9 ha. (3) the mangrove density reached 40-145 trees ha-1 (diameter >10cm) and 423-2238 trees ha-1 (diameter>4cm). This research aimed to produce knowledge-based leaflets and community attitudes about organic farming to improve students' ecological literacy. This research development was done based on the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) Data on community knowledge and attitudes about organic farming were obtained from questionnaires and interviews with 20 farmers. The data is implemented into leaflets. Leaflet validation was carried out by design experts, material experts, and science teachers. Limited trials to determine student responses were given to eight students. The score obtained from the validation by design experts is 49.5 or 82.5% (good). The validation results by material experts are 50.5 or 84% (good). The science teacher validation scored 45.25 or 90.5 (good). The trial by eight students obtained a percentage of 91.6% with a positive response. The results of the normalized gain score showed an increase in learning with an average score of 0.61 in the experimental class (high). The independent t-test is -4.058, at df 58, the significance value is 5%, t-table value is 2.00. Thus, it can be concluded that the leaflet developed is effective in increasing students' ecological literacy. At df 58, the significance value is 5%, and the t-table value is 2.00. Kondisi kawasan di Blok Lambosir TNGC berupa lahan kritis dan semak belukar. Hal ini telah menurunkan fungsi kawasan ini sebagai sistem penyangga kehidupan dan rawan bencana alam seperti longsor dan kebakaran. Upaya pemulihan kembali fungsi kawasan (restorasi ekosistem) perlu dilakukan secara bertahap dengan kegiatan RHL. Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan pendampingan dan gerakan aksi menanam tanaman endemik Gunung Ciremai sebagai kawasan hutan konservasi yang berkelanjutan. Lokasi kegiatan di Blok Lambosir Desa Setianegara, Kecamatan Cilimus, Kabupaten Kuningan. Pada lokasi tersebut telah dipersiapkan lahan seluas 1 Ha. Kegiatan terdiri dari 1. Pelatihan RHL dan Pemantapan Kelembagaan Kompepar, 2. Gerakan Adopsi Pohon berupa kegiatan a. Pendampingan Gerakan Menanam Pohon dan b. Pendampingan Pemeliharaan Pohon. Pelaksanaan dilakukan selama 3 hari yaitu Minggu, Sabtu dan Minggu (7, 20 dan 21 November 2021), yang diikuti oleh Kompepar Ciremai Green Lambosir dan sivitas akademika UNIKU. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan Peningkatan Kapasitas SDM Kompepar, melalui pelatihan dan diskusi mendalam tentang RHL, interpretasi obyek dan Kelembagaan. Pemahaman anggota Kompepar meningkat terhadap kegiatan RHL, mampu melakukan interpretasi objek dalam menyampaikan objek dan daya tarik wisata terhadap pengunjung serta memiliki kesepahaman yang sama terhadap kelembagaan Kompepar. Hasil kegiatan Gerakan Adopsi pohon, berupa kegiatan menanam 100 pohon jenis endemik seluas 0,1 Ha untuk rehabilitasi lahan yang didominasi lahan kritis dan semak belukar untuk mengantisipasi bencana ekologi termasuk kekayaan biodeversiti dan kebakaran hutan. Jenis-jenis endemik yang ditemukan di blok Lambosir ada 2 jenis pohon yaitu malanding (Leucaena leucocephala) dengan nilai kerapatan 1.250 ind./Ha dan Kipare (Glochidion macrocarpus Bl) dengan nilai kerapatan 40 ind./Ha, selebihnya didominasi semak belukar berupa Alang-alang (Imperata cylindrica) dengan nilai kerapatan 58.500/Ha. Jenis pohon yang ditanam pada kegiatan RHL adalah Kipare (Glochidion macrocarpus), peutag (Syzygium densiflorum), Calodas (Ficus macrocarpa), Beunying (Ficus fistulosa), salam (Syzygium polyanthum).
The students' explaining skill is interrelated with their conceptual understanding. This study aimed to determine the effect of the implementation of the student facilitator and explaining model assisted by the media game on the students' explaining skills related to environmental pollution. This quasi-experimental research was using a pre-test post-test control group design. The population was 120 seventh graders of state junior high schools in West Java, Indonesia. The simple random sampling technique has resulted in two groups (control and experiment) samples, consisting of 32 students for each group. The data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. This study found that the student facilitator and explaining model assisted by the media game can significantly improve students' explaining skills (p-value 0.001 < 0.05). The students in the experimental group had a better understanding of the concept of environmental pollution. This study concludes that the student facilitator and explaining model assisted by the media games can improve students' explaining skills and understanding of environmental pollution.
