La enfermedad de Grover es una dermatosis acantolítica de etiología e incidencia desconocidas, con predominio en los varones y en los mayores de 40 años, que puede presentar múltiples diagnósticos diferenciales. El reconocimiento de sus asociaciones y posibles desencadenantes permite un abordaje correcto. Si bien su evolución suele ser benigna y autolimitada, en ocasiones se observan casos refractarios, de curso prolongado y recidivante. Hay pocas publicaciones nacionales sobre esta patología. Se presentan tres casos clínicos, dos de ellos en el contexto de una internación hospitalaria, y uno de evolución crónica y recalcitrante.
Las neoplasias de la lengua son los tumores más comunes de la cavidad bucal y la mayoría pertenecen a carcinomas de células escamosas. Presentamos dos casos de carcinomas de la lengua, correspondientes a un carcinoma escamoso moderadamente diferenciado y un carcinoma verrugoso, en mujeres de mediana edad con factores de riesgo oncogénicos. Estos tumores pueden tener diversos grados de diferenciación, los cuales determinan su pronóstico y tratamiento.
La sífilis es una de las enfermedades infectocontagiosas de transmisión sexual más frecuentes, que presentadiferentes estadios en su evolución clínica. El estadio secundario se caracteriza por un gran polimorfismolesional, que compromete la piel, las mucosas y los anexos cutáneos, motivo por el cual se la conoce como“la gran simuladora”. Es importante el conocimiento de todas sus manifestaciones para su sospecha,diagnóstico y oportuno tratamiento.
El granuloma anular maculoso es una variante rara de granuloma anular, que representa un desafío diagnóstico. Su incidencia se desconoce y se presenta con mayor frecuencia en las mujeres de entre 40 y 70 años. Se asocia a las mismas entidades y responde a los mismos tratamientos que las otras variantes clínicas de granuloma anular.
Se presentan los casos de 5 mujeres con diagnóstico de granuloma anular maculoso, que recibieron diferentes tratamientos tópicos y sistémicos, con respuestas clínicas variables.
