Saţetak: Kultura je stvaralaĉki izraz ĉoveka kojim on preoblikuje svet i oplemenjuje ga vlastitom aktivnošću i tako stvara nove kulturne vrednosti. Ĉovek moţe stvoriti kulturni produkt samo kada je slobodan i sposoban da se izraţava. Savremeni ĉovek u slobodno vreme moţe inkorporirati razliĉite kulturne aktivnosti. One su posebno bitne kada su u pitanju deca i maldi, bilo da se radi o njihovom korištenju u institucionalnom vaspitanju ili u slobodnom vremenu.Autori su se opredelili za empirijsko istraţivanje procena i stavova uĉenika o kulturnim aktivnostima u slobodnom vremenu. Uzorkom istraţivanja obuhvaćeno je 233 uĉenika petih razreda. Rezultati istraţivanja pokazuju da se uĉenici petih razreda u slobodnom vremenu bave razliĉitim kulturnim aktivnostima, da uĉenici koji ţive u gradskim sredinama više posećuju kulturne dogaĊaje, da uĉenici u okviru vannastavnih aktivnosti imaju priliku da se ukljuĉe u sekcije koje pokrivaju kulturno-umetniĉko podruĉje, da nastupaju u kulturno-umentiĉkim društvima, da se bave stvaralaštvom, da se kulturne aktivnosti koriste na razliĉitim nivoima (konzumiranje, particpiacija i stvaralaštvo), te da se stavovi uĉenika o uticaju roditelja i nastavnika na izbor kulturnih aktivnosti u slobodnom vremenu ne razlikuju statistiĉki znaĉajno u odnosu na pol uĉenika, mesto stanovanja i školski uspeh.Kulturne aktivnosti su prisutne u slobodnom vremenu uĉenika razredne nastave.
