Yogyakarta is 1010.9 kVA. The power supplied is 800 kVA from State Electricity Company and the total power capacity of the transformer is 1000 kVA and a generator set with a capacity of 1000 kVA. Where the backup power supply system is fully supplied by the generator set.
Power distribution system is a component of electric power system to deliver electricity energy from substation to customer location. In power distribution system, there are some power loss was changed as heat. Power distribution losses is a natural occurrence, so one gets to be done only minimize to support global energy efficiency. The way to reduce power loss in the power distribution system is by reconfiguration the existing line. Reconfiguration means a process of operating the switch (NO and NC) and change the topology line. Then, power loss in the power distribution system is computed with "ETAP" simulation software. From computing result of distribution network losses on existing line at PT.
Taman Pendidikan Al Qur'an (TPA) adalah lembaga pendidikan dan pengajaran Islam luar sekolah atau dapat disebut juga sebagai pendidikan non formal untuk anak-anak usia SD (usia 7-12 tahun), yang mendidik santri agar mampu membaca Al-Qur'an dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan ilmu tajwid sebagai target pokoknya. TPA masjid Al Irsyad Sodanten, Ambarketawang, Gamping merupakan salah satu lembaga TPA yang sudah dimulai sejak tahun 2017. Dengan dukungan dari takmir masjid dan masyarakat sekitar TPA masjid Al Irsyad berkembang dengan sangat baik. Selain pengajaran Al Qur’an sebagai fokus utamanya, TPA masjid Al Irsyad juga memiliki beberapa program lainnya yaitu olah raga, kegiatan memanah, taman bermain tradisional dan outbond. Dengan semakin banyaknya santri yang ikut mengaji serta banyaknya kegiatan, TPA memerlukan tambahan fasilitas belajar untuk mendukung minat belajar para santri dan mendukung kegiatan-kegiatan TPA lainnya. Oleh karena itu berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka disini kami dari tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Teknik Elektro UMY mencoba memberikan solusi dengan membantu memberikan tambahan fasilitas belajar kepada TPA masjid Al Irsyad Sodanten dengan tujuan membantu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan minat belajar para santri TPA. Fasilitas belajar yang tim pengabdian adakan yaitu LCD proyektor, sound sistem portabel dan buku-buku agama. Tim juga memberikan kursus cara penggunaan dan perawatan peralatan. Pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di TPA Al Irsyad Sodanten telah terlaksana dengan baik, dengan harapan tambahan fasilitas yang ada dapat memberikan manfaat baik bagi para guru TPA maupun para santri.
Growth in electric energy demand, domination of use of fossil fuels, and waste problems are fundamental to this research. The purpose of this research is to find out the electrical energy potential of the Putri Cempo Landfill waste, Surakarta. The potential of electrical energy is designed for waste power plant (WPP). Penetration of WPP as a Distributed Generation (DG) to the 20 kV electrical distribution network is analyzed to determine its effect on the growth of demand for electricity, power flow, and the index of the (SAIFI and SAIDI). This research applies the technology Sanitary Landfill to produce landfill gas (LFG) as the primary energy of WPP. In calculating the growth predictions of electricity usage in the industrial, household, public, and commercial sectors from 2017 to 2025 in APJ Surakarta, the DKL Method 3.01 is applied. ETAP 12.6 was applied to analyze the power flow in the form of power losses and voltage losses and the Section method to calculate the reliability index (SAIFI, SAIDI) before and after penetration of WPP in PLR 01 and GDO 04 of Manahan Substation, Surakarta. The results showed that Trash from 5 Regencies and Cities, WPP was able to generate a maximum power of 10.1 MW. During peak load, WPP is able to reduce electricity demand of Substation for 0.
In a developing country, the rate of electricity demand is increasing along with the increasing rate of population growth and the rate of economic development of the country. With the growing development of the use of electronic technology in power systems, more and more non-linear equipment is used in the industry. This non-linear equipment can affect power quality because this non-linear load is the primary source of harmonic interference. To minimize the impact of the harmonic generation that occurs on non-linear loads such as induction motors, harmonic filter equipment is needed. This study also compared the current and voltage THD levels based on the IEEE standard and performed calculations to design a single tuned passive filter. This calculation is done because of the emergence of harmonics on a 3-phase induction motor that has exceeded the standard limit, so it must reduce the harmonics. Moreover, disturbances that occur, such as torsion vibrations caused by the interaction of the fundamental harmonic magnetic field, causing higher noise. Furthermore, it leads to additional thermal stress on electric motors, which have an impact on reducing the life of motor insulation. Based on the comparison and analysis obtained that the measured current THD still exceeds the IEEE standard limits. Then the interference that arises in the 3-phase RAW MILL induction motor will have an adverse impact if not handled correctly and adequately.
Energi listrik ini bukan saja dibutuhkan untuk menerangi rumah-rumah kita di malam hari akan tetapi juga untuk tempat-tempat ibadah seperti masjid atau musala. Masjid An Nuur yang berada di jalan Tirtosari, Gamping Tengah, Ambarketawang Gamping Sleman, merupakan salah satu sentral tempat ibadah umat Islam di wilayah Gamping Tengah. Masjid An Nuur selain ibadah rutin sholat berjama’ah memiliki banyak kegiatan diantaranya pengajian taklim bapak, ibu dan remaja, TPA anak-anak, kegiatan sosial, pengelolaan zakat dan sedekah dan kegiatan keagamaan yang lainnya. Kegiatan keagamaan seperti pengajian dan TPA, azan dan iqomah membutuhkan aliran listrik yang memadai untuk mendukung kelancaran kegiatan tersebut. Aliran listrik yang ada dimasjid An Nuur bersumber dari PLN sehingga ketika ada pemutusan arus listrik dari PLN mengakibatkan kurang lancarnya kegiatan tersebut, terutama untuk kegiatan wajib harian yaitu azan dan iqomah, karena belum adanya emergency backup pada instalasi listriknya.Dari permasalahan yang telah disebutkan diatas, tim pengabdian Teknik Elektro UMY membantu memberikan solusi dengan melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul “Implementasi Pemasangan Emergency Backup Pada Instalasi Listrik Di Masjid An Nuur, Gamping Tengah, Ambarketawang, Gamping Sleman.”. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dimulai dengan menganalisis kebutuhan daya listrik masjid An Nuur kemudian dibuat rancangan jalur instalasi dan pemasangan instalasi dan pengujian.
Currently, conventional motorcycles that utilize hazardous fossil fuels are expanding rapidly in Indonesia's major cities. Especially in campus environments, the increase in motorcycle usage has the potential to raise emissions of greenhouse gases and toxic microparticles. The green campus concept entails that campus living must implement low-emission energy efficiency, conserve resources, and enhance environmental quality by teaching its residents how to live a healthy lifestyle. However, limiting the number of motorcycles on campus is the main challenge, especially in Indonesia. To overcome this challenge, this study provides a design for the e-bike system that will be implemented at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). In addition, a solar power plant is integrated into the design to support the adoption of the zero-emission green energy concept on the campus. The design accommodates specifications for a 6 km radius surrounding the school, a two-day lifespan, and 100 electric bicycles. The experiment's findings indicate that the solar-powered e-bike design requires 99 solar panels with a capacity of 150 Wp, 9 SSCs with a capacity of 100 A, and three inverters with a capacity of 2,500 W. It is projected that this device will reduce exhaust emissions by 7.62 tons of CO2 per year once it is entirely operated.
