Introduction: Assessment of hemodialysis adequacy is an important indicator to assess the effectiveness of hemodialysis measures that can affect the patient's quality of life with chronic kidney disease. This study aims to determine the relationship between adequate hemodialysis and the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis therapy.Method: This type of research is a correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 86 elderly patients who underwent hemodialysis at the Muhammadiyah Lamongan Hospital. In this study, the independent variables were adequate hemodialysis and quality of life as the dependent variable. Measurement of hemodialysis adequacy was carried out using the URR formula, and the assessment of quality of life using the SF 36 questionnaire. Data analysis methods used the Spearman test using SPSS Ver. 16Result: The results of measurement of adequacy of 86 respondents, namely 13.9% achieved adequate and 86% did not achieve adequacy. The results of the quality of life assessment showed that 17.4% had a good quality of life and 82.5% had a poor quality of life. The results of statistical tests showed that there was a significant relationship between adequate hemodialysis and quality of life (p value = 0.000).Conclusion: The role of nurses is very important in improving the quality of care in achieving adequate adequacy so that it will improve the quality of life in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis therapy.
Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a contagious disease that is still a community problem in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to the incidence of dengue fever in Deket village.Method: This study was an observational analytical study with a case control design. The data that was collected used interviews and questionnaires. The sample consisted of 39 for the case group and 39 for the control group. The variables used were 3M behavior (covering the water container, draining the water container, burying unused things) and the incidence of DHF. This study used the Chi-square test.Result: The results showed that there was a relationship between the habitual draining of the water reservoirs with dengue fever, where p=0.000 (p<0.005). There was a relationship between the habit of closing the water reservoirs with dengue fever; p=0.000 (p<0.005). There was a relationship between the habits of thrift burial with dengue hemorrhagic fever; p=0.000 (p<0.005).Conclusion: Based on these results, it is expected that the health cadres should control the implementation of 3M in the community.
Latar belakang pemilihan penelitian karena KB Aisyiyah berada di lokasi yang mayoritas penduduknya berfaham Nahdlotul Ulama dan bersuku Madura. Hubungan orang tua dan anaknya sangat mempengaruhi keberhasilan belajar anak, tentu saja pada tahap awal orang tua harus memperhatikan minat anaknya dan sesuai dengan bakat yang dimiliki anaknya. Karena Orang tua memiliki tanggung jawab terhadap pendidikan anaknya maka motivasi orang tua dalam memilih sekolah bagi anaknya pada usia dini menjadi salah satu penentu di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1).mengetahui bagaimana alasan orang tua memilih sekolah untuk anak usia dini di Kelompok Bermain Aisyiyah 30 Surabaya. 2). Untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi orang tua terhadap pemilihan sekolah untuk anak usia dini di Kelompok Bermain Aisyiyah 30 Surabaya. Metodologi Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan desain case study. Tekhnik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa alasan orang tua termotivasi memilih sekolah untuk anak usia dini di Kelompok Bermain Aisyiyah 30 Surabaya adalah karena dekat dengan rumah, untuk penanaman agama sejak usia dini, dan memperoleh pendidikan terbaik dengan biaya yang terjangkau.
Latar Belakang : Perguruan tinggi bidang kesehatan pada dasarnya telah menerapkan merdeka belajar terutama pembelajaran di luar kampus jauh sebelum kebijakan Kampus Merdeka ini diluncurkan namun masih sebatas satu program kegiatan yaitu magang/praktek kerja. Ini merupakan tantangan bagi program studi kesehatan untuk dapat merancang dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di luar kampus yang inovatif pada delapan kegiatan dengan tetap memperhatikan capaian pembelajaran mencakup domain sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat capaian pembelajaran mencakup domain kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor selama melakukan kegiatan belajar di luar kampus yang dilaksanakan program studi di Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan menyebarkan angket kepada seluruh mahasiswa FIKES UMLA. sebanyak 960 mahasiswa (total sampling) yang terdiri dari 683 mahasiswa S1 Keperawatan, 95 mahasiswa S1 Administrasi Rumah Sakit dan 182 mahasiswa S1 Farmasi. Penelitian survei ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil : Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari domain kognitif sebesar 96,15 % menyatakan terjadi peningkatan saat dilakukan pembelajaran di luar kampus, domain afektif sebesar 96,15 % dan domain psikomotor sebesar 95,83 %. Kesimpulan : Program pembelajaran luar kampus mampu meningkatkan capaian pembelajaran mencakup domain kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor.
Introduction: Innovative learning media for online simulation-based nursing students is still not optimal. The study aimed to develop online simulation video-based learning media, namely virtual algorithm simulation (VAS) based on problems in medical-surgical nursing (MSN). Methods: A research development or Research and Development (R&D) which consists of two stages. The first phase of the study was conducted focus group discussion (FGD) with eight medical surgical nursing lecturers and expert discussion with 50 students, three of IT experts, and two MSN experts. The second phase of the research was conducted FGD with five participants, and socialization of instructional media to six lecturers and 54 students. The feasibility test instrument uses learning media assessment instruments consisting of subcategories of learning media rules, Computer Assisted Interaction (CAI), management, and the relevance of the material and syllabus. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Results: The assessment of media experts showed the highest mean in the VAS management subcategory of 3.53. Evaluation of nursing experts and students with the highest mean in the subcategory of material relevance and syllabus, namely 3.9 and 3.57. The results of discussions with experts stated that 100% of the learning media Virtual Algorithm Simulation (VAS) is suitable for use as a medium for learning medical surgical nursing. Conclusions: VAS can be used as a learning media for medical surgical nursing. Online simulation-based learning media can facilitate the accessibility of learning material, increase knowledge and skills of nursing students.
