This study aims to remediate science misconceptions on the concept of straight line motion using guided inquiry models assisted by Student Worksheet Based on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This study uses an experimental method with one shoot case study technique. The test instrument in the form of three tiers multiple choice test questions was used to identify students’ misconceptions of straight line motion concept. The results showed that students’ misconceptions on straight line motion concept amounted to 47.30%. Remediation of science misconceptions through the implementation of guided inquiry models assisted by Student Worksheet Based on STEM showed the results of students’ concept understanding in the conceptual understanding category of 58.58%, misconceptions of 25.49%, guessed 3.19%, and did not understand 12.75%. It was concluded that the application of the guided inquiry model assisted by Student Worksheet Based on STEM could be applied as an alternative learning model to remediate science misconceptions.
Marchantia sp. used in this study was obtained from the area of Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia. The identification of the species was performed based on the morphological characteristics by the plant taxonomy expert team Common liverwort is widely distributed around the world, and its extract has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic activities. This research investigated the antimicrobial activity of biosynthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) from common liverwort (Marchantia sp.) and its potency as a material for hand sanitizer formulation. The green synthesis (eco-friendly and biosafe synthesis using the nontoxic reagents) of liverwort AgNPs (LAgNPs) was performed using the maceration technique and 1 mg AgNO3. Characterization of LAgNPs was carried out using UV-Vis spectroscopy and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX) was performed to determine the nanoparticle size and elements. Then, the effectiveness of LAgNPs and LAgNPs-formulated hand sanitizer to inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was analyzed. The UV-Vis spectrophotometer results from LAgNPs at wavelength ranged from 400 to 700 nm shows an absorbance peak at 422 nm. FTIR analysis indicates that the LAgNPs were stabilized by isothiocyanate and amide, which represents the presence of various phytochemicals in the liverwort extract. The SEM-EDX analysis clearly shows that the size of the nanoparticles lies between 0.020-0.040 nm, and it contains several elements O, C, N, and Ag. Also, 75% LAgNPs concentration inhibited the growth of E.coli and S.aureus with clear zone diameter at 19.75 ± 6.13 mm and 16.25 ± 0.54 mm, respectively; whereas the formulated hand sanitizer inhibition diameter for both bacterial species was at 11.33 ± 1.03 mm and 11.00 ± 0.54 mm, respectively. This study aims to determine the implementation of the introduction of children's numbers through beam media at RA Nurul Ummah Kenep Balen, Bojonegoro Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected by using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include the method of induction and descriptive/interpretive analysis, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, checking the validity of the research by extending the participation of researchers, triangulation techniques. The results showed that the introduction of children's numbers through the media of color blocks can increase the knowledge of numbers for children, and for teachers it is easier for students to understand numbers. The supporting factors are the existence of a program that has become a mandatory activity set by the school as one of the subjects, the support from the school to provide educational learning facilities in the form of color blocks, the ability of active and creative teachers to use media facilities, while the inhibiting factors are students who still cannot distinguish the color of the blocks, students are late when entering. Efforts to recognize numbers that need to be done are careful preparation for teachers before doing learning, both learning administration, teaching preparation, and learning media, especially in counting using color block media, and the presence of complementary media from color block media.
Pendidikan pengembangan akal menjadi salah satu tujuan antara pendidikan, yakni ahdâf al-aqliyyah. Pendidikan pengembangan akal pada akhirnya akan berakumulasi dengan pendidikan pengembangan jasmani dan ruhani untuk mencapai tujuan akhir pendidikan Islam, yakni insân kâmil (manusia seutuhnya) yang mempunyai kesadaran, pemahaman, dan pengamalan akan posisi dirinya di antara Allah, alam, dan sesama manusia, serta mampu menjadi khalifah dan 'abd Allah. Dalam Islam, akal mendapat posisi yang signifikan, baik dalam pengembagan individu, masyarakat, maupun pengetahuan, terutama sains. Ia diposisikan sebagai hidayat al-'aqliyyah, yakni hidayah Allah yang hanya diberikan kepada manusia. Dengan akal, manusia mampu memahami symbol-simbol, hal-hal yang abstrak, menganalisis, membandingkan, maupun membuat kesimpulan dan akhirnya mampu membedakan antara yang benar (haq) dan salah (bathil). Pembelajaran sejarah merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran wajib yang harus diperoleh seluruh komponen masyarakat Indonesia dengan tujuan memberikan ruang pengetahuan bangsa, sikap nasionalisme, dan berperan dalam membentuk karakter pribadi peserta didik terhadap diri sendiri, masyarakat dan bangsa serta menanamkan nilai budaya, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, bangsa dan negara ini. Namun dibalik itu semua pemenuhan proses pendidikan sejarah tidak sejalan dengan kenyataan di dunia pendidikan saat ini, mata pelajaran sejarah dinilai tidak penting untuk dipelajari. Selain itu bermunculan persepsi dari peserta didik bahwa mata pelajaran sejarah membosankan, kurang menarik dan menjenuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran maket berbasis sejarah lokal pada mata pelajaran sejarah Indonesia kelas X di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah desain pengembangan model Bela H Banathy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran maket berbasis sejarah lokal pada mata pelajaran sejarah Indonesia di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah.
