During the Covid-19 pandemic, the teaching and learning process through an online system is one option that can deal with barriers to the teaching and learning process directly to avoid the spread of the virus. This study intends to analyze students’responses to the problems they face during the Covid-19 pandemic and how students deal with online learning during the pandemic. The background of this research is the experience of students with the problems they face during distance learning or online due to Covid-19 which requires students to follow government rules, namely doing distance learning or online. The informants or respondents in this study were several students majoring in . The data collected by the researcher was based on online interviews conducted with 15 students The data analysis used interactive analysis technique by Miles Hubberman. The researcher arranges several questions that must be asked of the participants to obtain the required information. In the online teaching and learning process during the covid-19 pandemic, various problems experienced by students are as follows, the most dominant problem when carrying out online learning is the limited internet network, especially for students who live in rural areas.
The purpose of this research is: (1) To know the success rate of the PAKEM strategy implementation in improving students’ mathematics learning result on the material of cube and crossbar in grade VIII MTs Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The results of this research is the success rate of the PAKEM strategy implementation in improving students’ mathematics learning result in grade VIII MTs Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa on the material of cube and crossbar is 68% from before action taken. With the completeness of classical learning outcomes before action taken is 20%, after action on cycle I is 72% and cycle II is 88%.
Siswa membutuhkan kemampuan literasi matematik untuk menghadapi dan memecahkan berbagai tantangan kehidupan saat ini. Literasi matematika meliputi kemampuan memahami dan menggunakan matematika untuk memecahkan masalah dalam konteks dunia nyata dan membuat argumen berdasarkan konsep dan prosedur. Namun, fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi matematika siswa di Indonesia masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk: (1) Analisis peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematik siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kemampuan literasi matematik siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran biasa, (2) Analisis proses penyelesaian jawaban siswa terkait masalah literasi matematik yang diajarkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pembelajaran biasa. Jenis penelitian ini kuasi eksperimen. Seluruh murid MTs Nurul Khairiyah Deli Serdang menjadi populasi penelitian ini yang berjumlah 128 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu Kelas VIII-1 sebanyak 14 siswa dan Kelas VIII-2 sebanyak 14 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah:(1) Peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematik siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan literasi matematika siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran biasa, terlihat dari nilai t hitung > t tabel , dimana t hitung = 22,231 dan t tabel = 1,761. (2) proses penyelesaian jawaban siswa terkait masalah literasi matematik yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran biasa.
This study aims to describe the creative thinking ability of upper group students in solving Ring Algebra Structure questions on the prime ideal and maximum ideal material. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects are students of Mathematics Education-2 Semester VI who have taken the Ring Algebra Structure course. The research subjects are three (3) students of Mathematics Education-2 Semester VI who have high mathematical abilities based on test results in the form of assignments on Ideal material. The instruments used in the study include: 1) Test; 2) Interview guide; and 3) Documentation. Based on the results of research and discussion, the findings resulted that the thinking ability of upper-class students had fulfilled all aspects of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, and originality. The subject has been able to explain all the indicators that have been set very well and precisely. Subjects have also been able to prove prime ideals or maximum ideals or not both and can identify examples and non-examples of prime ideals and maximum ideals through high-level elaboration and analysis carried out by the subject. Subjects are also very able to describe Lattice diagrams on each question and can determine the subring of a ring. It's just that there is a uniqueness of the worksheet between MS, ZB, and HF. But overall the subject has fulfilled the creative thinking aspect. Thus, it can be concluded that the upper group students can be categorized at level 4, which is very creative.
The aims at this study to: (1) Analyze the physical properties of soil on peatlands, (2) Determine peatland management efforts. This research was conducted at Jalan Suka Maju (BRG Assisted Land) in Liang Anggang District, Banjarbaru City Government, South Kalimantan Province. The results of the analysis of soil physical properties, the results of bulk density have low values, soil porosity has a higher value, particle density has a low value, soil permeability has a high value, the consistency of existing soil is soft and the maturity of sapric peat soil, Efforts in peatland management are carried out using agroforestry patterns such as (a) Keeping peat water from quickly descending from the land as the system used is closed land, (b) Making mounds for agroforestry patterns does not exceed 25-30 cm with a base width of 30-40 cm, (c) Using woody plants such as prince, galam, candlenut, petai, jengkol, besides agricultural/fruit crops such as oranges, rambutan, sapodilla, onion, pineapple, banana, chili, and corn.
