The perceptions of Islamic banking professionals are surveyed through a questionnaire to explore whether the process of risk management mediates board involvement in risk management and risk management practices of Islamic banks in Malaysia and Egypt. The findings of this study identified that the Islamic banks in the selected countries are somewhat efficient in their risk
management process. It was noticed that board involvement in risk management, process of risk management and risk management
among Islamic banks in Malaysia are significantly higher than their counterparts in Egypt. Furthermore, high involvement of boards in risk management significantly increases the risk management process, and in turn, leads to significantly higher risk management practices in Islamic banks. Hence, boards should take formal responsibility for setting, managing and periodically
assessing the risk management culture of the banks. It is expected that the outcomes of this study would help policy setters in the selected countries to develop a well-structured and harmonized risk management process that enhance risk management practices, with emphasis on the effective involvements of the board of directors and Shari’ah supervisory boards in risk management
practices.

Abstract-The survival of a software product for a long term is a challenging issue. Software doesn't die but it becomes obsolete. The aim of this paper is to propose a design pattern that could help maintaining the sustainability of software products. The proposed pattern could be used in the architectural engineering phase of developing an online social network system to help maintaining its sustainability. We built our work based on an agreed upon definition of software sustainability from the software engineering perspective, we discussed the main factors that lead to maintain a sustainable software product, and introduced the risks that might lead to software death. Finally, a planning phase was introduced to help analyzing the need for a sustainable software and evaluating it economically. It is highly recommended to use the proposed pattern and to consider the proposed factors due to their comprehensiveness and flexibility.

Pabelan Pesantren is an educational institution that has undergone a long history and is now the third resurrection. This Pesantren also has functions and roles as a community development institution, including the economic development of Ummat. The consequence is to equip and train santris to be entrepreneurial so that after graduation they can be independent with their business. However, the pattern of education still prepares santris to become workers or laborers in the process of implementing educational products, in addition to job reduction problems due to the impact of automation from the applicability of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Therefore, it is necessary to manage an efficient educational activity through actions to identify, evaluate risks and mitigate risks to achieve continuing education. What will be discussed in this study is identifying risk factors in input, process, output, outcome, and impact to determine how often such events occur and the degree of influence on Education sustainability. It is ensured that the risk should be minimized by using the risk map matrix. It then identifies the emergence of the risks to be established related to the risk event into the House of Risk matrix. From this research, it is expected to contribute to the mitigation measures that can reduce the incidence of risk in creating entrepreneurial behavior for santris in Pesantren.
