This research aims to find out the transformation of Islamic education in Indonesia is influenced by many factors, including the need to create a nation that is capable, faithful and godly to Allah SWT. the need to improve the quality of human resources in order to compete with other nations, and government policies. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques are carried out by literature studies related to Islamic education in Indonesia. The result of this study is Islamic education in the perspective of history and its transformation from period to period, namely starting from the origin of the establishment of Islamic education, the period of Dutch and Japanese colonization, the post-independence period, and the post-reformation period.
<p><em>Motolobalango and Madduta-Mamanu-manu customs in the courtship tradition of Gorontalo tribe and Bugis tribe have institutionalized in society. Motolobalango is carried out when the families of both parties have carried out dulohupa (meeting), while Madduta-Mamanu-manu is carried out when a boy proposes to a girl. These two customs have their own characteristics, yet in certain cases the process has similarities and differences. This study discusses the implementation of courtship tradition in Islamic perspective and analyses the values of Islamic education contained in this tradition. The values of Islamic education are the attributes inherent in education to achieve the purpose of human life, namely to serve God, the Almighty. The value in Islamic education is something which is helpful and useful for humans after undergoing a process of effort carried out consciously and intentionally, so that the behavior of a person or society changes from a certain state to a better state. The results of the analysis showed that courtship tradition contains the value of tolerance and cooperation, as well as social, economic and religious values.</em></p><p><em>Tradisi Motolobalango dan Madduta-Mamanu-manu dalam adat peminangan suku Gorontalo dan masyarakat suku Bugis merupakan tradisi yang telah melembaga dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Proses Motolobalango dilakukan ketika keluarga kedua belah pihak telah melakukan dulohupa (perjumpaan). Sementara Madduta-Mamanu-manu dilakukan dalam meminang atau melamar gadis. Dua tradisi adat ini memiliki karakter yang dalam hal-hal tertentu prosesinya memiliki persamaan dan perbedaan. Kajian ini mengangkat tentang penyelenggaraan tradisi adat peminangan dalam perspektif Islam serta menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung dalam tradisi tersebut. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam adalah sifat-sifat yang melekat pada pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan hidup manusia yaitu mengabdi pada Allah SWT. Jadi, nilai dalam pendidikan Islam adalah sesuatu yang bermanfaat dan berguna bagi manusia setelah menjalani proses upaya yang dilakukan secara sadar dan sengaja sehingga perilaku seseorang atau masyarakat berubah dari keadaan tertentu ke suatu keadaan yang lebih baik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tradisi peminangan tersebut memiliki nilai toleransi, kerjasama, sosial, ekonomi dan religi.</em></p>
The aims of this study are 1) to analyze earthquake disaster education in State Senior High School 1 Karangreja, using a role-playing learning model.; 2) to analyze the knowledge and students’ attitude in dealing with earthquakes. The population of this study was all students of State Senior High School 1 Karangreja. State Senior High School 1 Karangreja is located on the slopes of Mount Slamet, making it prone to volcanic earthquakes. Disaster education for students is very needed. This will allow the students to have provisions when a disaster occurs. The number of samples is 56 respondents. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative. The result of this study is that the condition of teachers in providing education about earthquake disasters is still at the stage of offering knowledge; there needs to be simulation practice involved. The level of preparedness knowledge of students with moderate levels of knowledge is 66% of respondents. Students with low levels of preparedness knowledge are as much as 16%. Students with an excellent preparedness attitude are as much as 52%. Researchers advise the school and the teachers to improve education on disasters, particularly earthquakes, based on the disaster vulnerability at the school.
The perspective of learning theory states that many factors that affect students' learning result, whether internally or externally. The internal factor such as the using of ICTbased learning media and learning interest which are assumed strongly affect the students' learning results. This research was quantitative research by using interpretive research approach with the sample 161 students taken from State Junior High School Gorontalo City at academic year 2017/2018. The collecting of the data was conducted through the observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis using the estimation model of Metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The result showed that the utilization of ICT-based learning media had positive and significant effects on the students' learning results. In the same way, students' learning interest also positively and significantly affected the learning results of students. Besides that, the finding also showed that the using of ICT-based media and learning interest simultaneously had positive and significant effects on the students' learning results.
The problem occurs in the learning process, where elementary school students are less motivated to understand material in the form of stories without pictures. Therefore, the researcher conducts this study to develop digital fairy tale media that is applied to second grade of elementary school students. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) or research and development according to Bord and Gall. The steps taken in this research and development, namely: research and data collection, planning, initial product development, initial field trials, revision of trial results, field trials, product enhancements that have been refined, field implementation trials, product improvement final, cementation and implementation. The research subjects were elementary school students. The product produced in this research is digital fairy tale learning media which was developed to add a variety of media. The results of the study show that the digital fairy tale learning media developed using the Bord and Gall model has been declared valid. Based on the material assessment it obtained a percentage of 75% with valid criteria, language assessment obtained a percentage of 95.45% with very valid criteria, and the media assessment obtained a percentage of 86.45% with very valid criteria. From students obtained through product trials in small groups, namely obtaining a score percentage of 90.52% with very valid criteria, and large group field trials obtaining a score percentage of 95.40% with very valid assessment criteria, and has a level of effectiveness of 93.63%.
