The strategic role of the agricultural sector in the national development includes: providing food for the Indonesian population, foreign exchange earners through exports, supplying industrial raw materials, increasing employment and business opportunities, increasing regional income, alleviating poverty and driving the movement of other economic sectors. In fact, until now the agricultural sector still faces many problems. Government policies that are not in favor of the agricultural sector are obstacles to the development of the agricultural sector. The government is more concerned with the industrial sector because the industry sector has been claimed to provide high income compared to the agricultural sector. Investors are also more interested in investing in the industrial sector than in the agricultural sector. The purpose of this study is to see the magnitude of the relationship between agricultural sub-sectors, both in the future and backward, in the Indonesian economy, seeing the magnitude of the influence of the agricultural sector on the increase in total output, community income, and absorption of Indonesian labor, and see what agricultural sub-sectors can be classified as a leading commodity, potential and lagging commodity in Indonesia based on the ranking of the forward and backward linkages, the agricultural sub-sector that can be classified as a sector that triggers economic growth, the income generating sector and the labor absorption sector based on the number multiplier
This study aims to determine the effect of rice production and consumption on rice imports in Jambi Province in 2010-2016 simultaneously and partially and calculate the effect of rice production and consumption on rice imports in Jambi Province in 2010-2016 simultaneously and partially. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data was analyzed using multiple lienear regression analysis. The results showed that: There is a significant influence between the variables of rice production and consumption on rice imports in Jambi Province in 2010-2016 simultaneously, this is evidenced by the calculated F value> F table or significance value> α. The magnitude of the effect of rice production and consumption on rice imports in Jambi Province simultaneously is 82.2%, while the remaining 17.8% is explained by other variables not examined in this study There is a significant influence between the variables of rice production on rice imports in the Province Jambi, this can be seen from the count -t value of <-t table which is -3.206 <-2.132 or the significance value <α is 0.002 <0.05. The magnitude of the effect of the rice production variable on rice imports in Jambi Province is with the value of β1 = -2,940, meaning that if rice production increases by 1 ton, rice imports will decrease by -2,940 assuming the other variables are constant. There is a significant influence between rice consumption variables on rice imports in Jambi Province, this can be seen from the value of t count> t table which is 3.076> 2.132 or a significance value <α that is 0.004 <0.05. The magnitude of the influence of rice consumption variables on rice imports in Jambi Province is with the value of β1 = 3.024, meaning that if rice consumption increases by 1 ton, rice imports will increase by 3.024 assuming the other variables are constant.
According to the National Council of Mathematics Teachers (NCTM) 2005, Mathematics is a means of problem-solving. NCTM also emphasizes that problem solving cannot be separated from learning Mathematics because problem-solving is an integral part of learning Mathematics. This study aims to improve the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah by using a cognitive conflict-based learning model. The subjects of this study were students of class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This type of research is development research. Data collection was carried out in 3 stages, the investigation stage, the prototype phase, and the assessment phase as the level of implementation and achievement in using the cognitive conflict-based learning model. The instruments used in this study were in the form of interview guidelines, questionnaires, and observation sheets. The data analysis carried out is the analysis of data on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning tools. The results of problem-solving abilities can be seen from the results of students' final tests in each meeting which always increase. Based on the study's results, it can be concluded that Cognitive Conflict-based mathematics learning tools can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.
