This research topic is very important and shows the social causes of poverty alleviation. Poverty is today’s biggest problem in Pakistan. This research made an effort to find out and to discuss the related elements of poverty. The Researcher proposed to study problems and prospects of hand embroidery in the cottage industries, Cottage industry sector plays a dominant role in the economic development of countries. In developing countries cottage industries are especially important in the context of employment opportunities, equitable distribution of national income, balanced regional growth, and development of different areas. A sample of 70 home-based workers selected from convenience sampling in Gadap Town, Karachi. After assembling data, we found that the government is providing the required level of support to hand embroidery, Respondents cannot perform household chores along with their work and create differences in the domestic economic conditions.
The paper examines the relationship between efficient mathematics teaching and deficient required resources in district Panjgur, Balochistan. In today's world of highly enhanced fields, especially in science and technology, it is impossible to march on the road of success in the absence of resources, commitment, dedication, and the urge to seek knowledge without any cultural or theological influence. The purpose of the paper is to highlight the factors which are hampering effective mathematics teaching in the high schools of the research area. In addition, it discusses the reasons for the failure of mathematics teachers in arranging the mathematical activities in the high schools in district Panjgur. Education is the most important factor for the progress and prosperity of any nation. Mathematics as a subject fascinated the mind and sharped analytical skills and vital for success of students in their future accomplishments. It plays a significant role as a subject for creating human resource, which are essential for the progress of any nation. The study has underlined the aspects which hinder the rapid up-gradation of mathematics as a subject and the traditional limitations associated with remote areas in classroom teaching.
Child labor is one of the major and serious problems across the globe, with the number of children are escalating each year. There are thousands of children working in agriculture sector as child labor. The prevalence of agriculture child labor is extensive in less developed countries. Agriculture occupies a significant place in the economic prosperity of Pakistan, as well as it is one of the main sectors where people are associated for earing and livelihood. The objective of this study is to determine the socio-economic factors behind the child labor in agriculture sector of district Lasbela, Balochistan. Lasbela is considered a major agriculture zone in Balochistan and there are large number of children who are working as child labor in this area. The main cause which leads to children toward labor activities is poverty and low household income. A child working as a laborer in the fields of agriculture is to assist their family’s income. In the present research, 50 children who were working as laborer were selected through the purposive sampling technique. They were interviewed through semi-structured interview which consist of number of questions. Mostly working children were illiterate and dropouts from schools. Majority of the working children face some issues related to their physical and mental health. Thus, this study discovered that mostly working children come to agriculture sector due to low household income and inherited poverty in district of Lasbela, Balochistan.
