Using the casting method, the films of nanocomposites (NCs) are made from a (PEOPVA) mixture with varying ratios of SrTio3 and CoO nanoparticles (NPs). The results show that increasing the ratio of (SrTiO3-CoO) NPs improved the electrical and structural characteristics of (PEO-PVA-SrTio3-CoO) NCs. The scanning electron microscopy results demonstrate that morphology on surface of the (PEO-PVA-SrTiO3-CoO) NCs is homogeneous and coherent, with several groupings or pieces distributing on the top of the surface at random. According to the dielectric characteristics, dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the NCs reduce with increasing the frequency of the applied electric field and increases with increasing concentration of (SrTiO3-CoO) nanoparticles. As the concentration of (SrTiO3-CoO) and frequency are increased, conductivity increases. The results of structural and electrical characteristics show that the (PEO-PVA-SrTiO3-CoO) NCs may be used for various electronics fields.

Films are prepared from (PEO/PVA) blend with various ratios of (SrTiO3/NiO) by using casting method. SEM images of (PEO/PVA/SrTiO3/NiO) nanocomposites show that many aggregates or chunks on the upper surface that are homogeneous and coherent. The (PEO/PVA/SrTiO3/NiO) nanocomposites contribute to tiny vibrational molecular movement, according to the (FTIR) analysis. Several polymer chains were also disrupted once (SrTiO3/NiO)  nanoparticles were introduced. Instead, several additional chains were produced. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss decreases with increasing of frequency, while conductivity increases, as well as dielectric constant increases from 4.73 to 5.99 and dielectric loss rise from 0.85 to1.80, while the conductivity increases from 4.7×10-11 S/cm to 1.10×10-10 S/cm when (SrTiO3/NiO) NPs reached 4wt.%. The results of structural and electrical properties show that the (PEO/PVA/SrTiO3/NiO) NCs may be used for various electronics fields.

<abstract> <p>This study looks at the synthesis of innovative PEO/PVA/SrTiO₃/NiO nanocomposites for piezoelectric sensors and gamma shielding applications that are low weight, elastic, affordable and have good gamma ray attenuation coefficients. The impact of SrTiO₃/NiO on the structural characteristics of the PEO/PVA mixture is investigated. The polymer mixture PEO/PVA received additions of SrTiO₃/NiO at concentrations of (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) weight percent by the casting method. On the top surface of the films PEO/PVA/SrTiO₃/NiO NCs, scanning electron microscopy reveals several randomly distributed aggregates or fragments that are consistent and coherent. An optical microscope image collection reveals that the blend*s additive distribution of NPs was homogenous. Gamma ray shielding application results show that the attenuation coefficient of PVA/PEO/SrTiO₃/NiO NCs is increased by increasing concentration of SrTiO₃/NiO nanoparticles. Radiation protection is another application for it. The pressure sensor application findings of NCs show that, when the applied pressure rises, electrical capacitance (Cp) increase.</p> </abstract>
