This study aims to describe the quality of learning video media validation results developed based on expert assessment of content, design, media, individual and small group tests. The development model used is the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The data in this study were collected by interview methods and objective tests. The results of the research are as follows (1) The design of the learning video media is made in a video script. This manuscript is transformed into a learning video media through the ADDIE development stage. (2) The results of the validity of the learning video media based on the assessment of content experts, namely 88% with good qualifications, learning design experts, obtained a percentage of 92% with very good qualifications, the assessment of learning media experts, obtained a percentage of 85% with good qualifications. The percentage obtained from the individual test results is 97,14% with very good qualifications. Small group test results obtained 99,04% with very good qualifications. Thus, the learning video media that has been developed is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Suggestions from this study are for teachers to use instructional video media developed in the learning process.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Angkasa 4 tahun ajaran 2020/2021 pada semester genap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain control group pre-test post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 81 siswa dan sampel untuk kelas eksperimen 26 siswa dan kelas kontrol 27 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan menggunakan random sampling. Dalam perhitungan dibantu dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26 for windows. Teknik analisis data uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t Independent T-Tes dari pengolahan data didapatkan hasil sebesar Asymp.(2-tailed) < α = 5% yaitu 0,010 < 0,05 sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Process Oriented Guided Inquary Learning (POGIL) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD Angkasa 4 pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya.
This research aims to: (1) developing physics module based on scientific to improve student’s critical thinking competency, (2) knowing the appropriateness of physics learning module based on scientific. The research type that is used is the type of development research (Research and Development), and the model of module development that is used is 4-D (four D model) consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate that is stated by Thiagarajan. The learning module based on scientific is arranged for the learning participants actively construct the concept, the law or principle through 5 stages of 5 M which are mengamati (observing), menanya (interviewing), mencoba (trying), menalar (reasoning), and mengkomunikasikan (communicating). The module is judged based on the appropriateness of material, media, and language and limited trials and wide trials to the student and the stage of spread in the MGMP forum. The data collection uses the questionnaire of necessity analysis, the form of module validation, the questionnaire of trial response (limited and spacious), the questionnaire of disseminate response, and the test of critical thinking. The results of the research are as follow: (1) physics module based on scientific to improve the student’s critical thinking competency having a characteristic which is learning the learning stage on the module is adapted with scientific learning stage in each of the stage and loads the test question of critical thinking, (2) the module is categorized feasible with the counting result (material expert, media expert, linguist, teacher, and colleague) showing the average value which is 85 >cut off 84. Also, it is supported by the student’s positive response and the disseminate result that is conducted in MGMP forum that categorizes that the module is very good. Based on the research it can be concluded that the physics module based on scientific to improve the students’ critical thinking competency that is developed is feasible to use as the source of physics learning source.
