Este estudo teve como objetivo verificar a agência envolvida no processo de institucionalização das práticas organizacionais no Hospital de Clínicas da Universidade Federal do Paraná (HC-UFPR), em face das pressões do contexto ambiental. Para fins de análise deste processo o período selecionado foi subdividido em três partes: 1961-1980; 1981-1995 e 1996-2008, correspondendo aos períodos relevantes para a análise. O delineamento de pesquisa utilizado foi do tipo estudo de caso com perspectiva de corte seccional e avaliação longitudinal, composta de duas fases na coleta e análise dos dados. Como resultado geral do estudo apontam-se evidências de que as mudanças no contexto ambiental condicionaram a definição das práticas no HC-UFPR, especialmente, por pressões sociais e pelo caráter regulativo das mudanças do contexto ambiental que influenciaram a instituição a aumentar o número de atendimentos, servindo aos interesses do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Assim, verifica-se que as definições das práticas do HC-UFPR foram condicionadas pelas pressões ambientais, fato este, gerou uma desarmonia nos propósitos da instituição. O atendimento da demanda sobrecarregou a estrutura para ensino e pesquisa. Estas mudanças foram impostas, sem examinar os propósitos da instituição e suas particularidades.
This research has the purpose of verifying the perception of the students regarding the attributes or skills of teaching quality. We assume a concept of competence that is not limited to the measurement of objective results, but that emphasizes more the importance of recognition or perception of others for their evaluation. For analysis, students from the administration course of two units of a private Higher Education Institution in Curitiba and metropolitan region were selected. The research technique chosen was the registration of critical incidents. The results indicate some characteristics of the teaching quality, such as diversification of teaching strategies; participation of students; attention and incentive of the teacher to learning. Some characteristics of the lack of teaching quality are summarized in the domain of content but not being able to explain; monotonous class; and the lack of good conduct in the relationship with the students. The identified attributes of competence can compose different teaching styles.
The Third Section is conigured in a wide and rich ield of researches and investigations; however, the academic production of critical and analytical studies regarding the social organizations in that section can still be considered incipient. In speciic areas as strategy, in the theoretical or empiric ield, it is noticed the strong and total relationship with the private world, what does not make unfeasible any of the study techniques and conceptions for the organizations of the Third Section. In this theoretical essay, it is aimed to introduce what is discussed about strategy, in the main academic publications of the Third Section presented in the ANPAD meetings, from 1997 to 2006. Among the aspects or central theme found in the research are the deinition of strategy, the formation of the strategies, the strategic alliances, the indicators, the stakehold ers and the strategy as practice. The possibility of inding those themes elapses of the particularities of that section, characterized in its structure or functionality.
