Abstract Games for teaching physics, chemistry and biology: spontaneous development and use or method under theoretical foundation? In this article we evaluate work accessible on the internet that relate to empirical research focused on the analysis of the potential for teaching and learning of science through pedagogical games or playful activities. Our intention is to monitor the uses to which the authors of theoretical references of the various lines of research -philosophical, educational, sociological -to support their projects of didactic interventions and to evaluate them as to the possibilities of learning tools can provide. The question that guided this analysis can be posited as the following: pedagogical games, developed and used by the authors of the article analyzed, are based on theoretical frameworks academically accepted or are based on assumptions spontaneous? Our results suggest that games do not use the theoretical assumptions both in developing and in the evaluation of results, which seems to constitute itself as a problematic issue lead to the understand that these are projects with arbitrary rules and concepts inspired by socially embedded and spontaneous in nature.
Palavras chave: didática da física; manual de física; fenômeno didático Abstract This paper presents the results of a doctoral thesis that sought to investigated correlations between the structure of a Basic Cycle University Physics textbook and certain conceptions and actions of teachers being released a few decades on the teaching of physics. According to our survey, the analysis manual is the work most frequently cited in political-pedagogical projects in physics courses. Analyses were sustained on concepts of Anthropological Theory of Didactic (TAD). The results point to a congruence between the structure of presentation of content in textbooks and spontaneous notions of teachers.
Epistemologia. Concepções espontâneas.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
