And now another significant factor has been added — the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences. The article presents the results of the first stage of the interdisciplinary research project "Socio-psychological factors of economic behavior of the population: risks and opportunities (cross-country comparisons)" carried out by the authors. On the basis of the data obtained with the help of the sociological tools developed by the authors, the types of economic behavior are investigated in terms of four psychosocial aspects closely related to the features of mentality: trust, risk, stress, responsibility. An interdisciplinary approach to the study of the motives and strategies of economic behavior provides identification of the most realistic picture of all current risks and opportunities for population in the financial and consumer services market. At the second stage, the data obtained by the authors from the results of the survey of the Russian population, will be compared on the basis of a comparative analysis with the outcomes of the forthcoming surveys of respondents from Poland, Belarus, Lithuania and Slovakia.
Introduction: Our society faces new challenges nowadays. The widespread usage of mobile communications and its availability attracts more and more users to the worldwide network. The current generation is unable to isolate themselves from their internet connected gadgets. Clearly, the world is becoming more and more digital and dependent on information and communication technology (ICT). On the one hand, it gives the opportunity to communicate and removes all borders between cities and even continents. On the other hand, youth over-dependence on technology could lead to impaired consciousness, change in mental processes, and the problems of the Googlization of our society. The relevance of the study is related to the positive trend of polymorbidity, which has shown positive dynamics over the past decades and continues to grow. Polymorbidity reduces the quality of life of patients, increases the risk of functional limitations and complicates effective treatment. In some subgroups of polymorbid patients, high rates of re-hospitalization and provision of expensive medical services are observed. It should be noted that the organization of support and improvement of the effective provision of outpatient care to patients with two or more chronic diseases makes it possible to achieve positive results in treatment. In some foreign countries, there is a positive experience in providing a whole range of medical services to polymorbid patients, as well as an integrated approach to the organization of effective medical support. Such an experience with the condition of Russian adaptation can be implemented in our country. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the application of various approaches to the organization of maintenance of polymorbid patients on the example of several countries. Based on the analysis of the activities of various centers and organizations that are engaged in the support of polymorbid patients, author's proposals for the possible organization of a Center for medical and social assistance to these patients are made. When forming the functional structure of the Center, clear coordination between various health services, social protection organizations and rehabilitation of patients with two or more chronic diseases is necessary. More attention in Russia should be paid to the development of health promotion and disease prevention programs. The proposed measures will allow to obtain a positive synergetic effect and fulfill strategic objectives: to increase life expectancy, reduce mortality, increase the active working life of the population. The purpose of this study was to identify the main trends in the digitalization of Russian universities, which, recently, have been largely associated with the need to use mixed forms of education against the background of the development of the pandemic. The object of research is the system of higher professional education. The subject is the current trends of digitalization caused by external and internal factors, and the attitude towards them on the part of participants in the educational process. The pandemic has made significant changes not only in the educational process, but also in the management system of the entire knowledge acquisition system. Significant problems of digital inequality were identified not only among students, but also educational institutions. In a situation of forced transition to a mixed and even fully online learning format, the Russian higher education system has proven its viability and effectiveness. Most educational institutions were forced to take advantage of the opportunities of distance learning technologies. In the article, the author uses a classical approach to the study of the problem, based on desk and field research, analysis of secondary and obtaining primary data on the studied problem. The uniqueness of the study lies in the fact that a comparative analysis of the attitude to the digitalization processes of Russian universities before and after the pandemic is presented. To obtain primary information, the author's tools of longitudinal research were implemented and a survey was conducted to study the features of the use of communication technologies in the educational process under the influence of social, economic and political factors, as well as global processes taking place in society, including under the influence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The results of the study can be practically significant for scientists, specialists, researchers and various government structures directly involved in solving issues related to the education system and higher education.
