The aim of the study was to determine effective ways and means of safe work of a medical workers of a dental clinic in a pandemic. Results: an analysis of the organization and methods of prevention of a new coronavirus infection in a dental clinic was carried out, the structure of labor safety was determined as a professionally significant characteristic of medical personnel. Conclusion: the obtained material can be used to create informational developments on the prevention of the incidence of coronavirus infection among healthcare workers. And the results of the study can be used to optimize the role of prevention in order to raise the level of education of health workers.
Management in health care is an essential component of the activities of the heads of medical organizations. Many managerial decisions are made «at the interface» between senior and mid-level medical personnel, therefore, the correct management of the nursing service at the level of senior nurses is becoming increasingly important. The purpose of the work: to determine the role and capabilities of the head nurse in the development, justification, and adoption of individual or group management decisions. Results. The conditions necessary for making managerial decisions are determined, the styles of managerial decision-making are characterized, the factors influencing the process of managerial decision-making are assessed, and possible mechanisms to motivate senior nurses for managerial decisions, professional development, and career growth are identified. Conclusion. Practice shows that all employees of the organization can equally possess managerial qualities, which, if developed, will allow forming a personnel base for the appointment of senior nurses.However, in order to begin the formation of such a base, it is first necessary to identify employees who have managerial characteristics.
According to literature data, an increase in the overall disease incidence of medical workers has been recorded in Russia over the past ten years. At the same time, it is noted that the incidence rates obtained from the official reporting data are several times lower than those obtained in the course of sociological surveys. This is due to the fact that medical workers prefer to treat themselves or receive medical care from their colleagues without registering a case of the disease in medical documentation [2, 3].
Motivating healthcare professionals is a critical function of healthcare management. Without solving the problems of motivation, it is impossible to really improve the quality and culture of providing medical care to the population, as well as to increase the efficiency of the activities of medical institutions and the industry as a whole on the basis of the competent use of all types of resources, material, financial and personnel. The use of motivation also helps to reduce the number of errors in work due to the human factor associated with its low level and with an insufficiently serious attitude to work.
