ABTRACT The aim of this research was to know the effect of paci-paci (L. lavandulaefolia) powder addition in feed suplemented for 14 days to the prevent A. hydrophila infection Pangasius sp. The research was conducted on August-September 2016 in Laboratorium Kolam Percobaan Budidaya Perairan, Aquaculture Study Program, Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University and hematocrite examination was conducted in PMI Palembang. The research based on Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatments and three replications. The fish was injected by A. hydrophila with density of 1,7x108 cfu.mL-1. The Pangasius sp. has been reared for 30 days and fed with pellet enriched with 8%, 10%, 12 % and 14% Leucas lavandulaefolia powder. Feeding frequency was four times a day. The parameters observed on this research were prevalence, hematocrite, survival, growth and water quality. The result showed that the addition the Laucas lavandulaefolia powder in feed effect on prevalence, survival rate and patin fish growth. The treatment that produced the best prevention was the addition of 12% Leucas lavandulaefolia powder in feed which produced 28.07% prevalence, 85.00% survival rate and 1.11 cm absolute length growth. Sasanti AD, Anggraini SP. 2019. The utilizing of probiotics for catfish sangkuriang (Clarias sp.) cultivation in plastic pond at Arisan Jaya Village Ogan Ilir, South Sumatera. Jurnal Lahan Suboptimal: Journal of Suboptimal Lands. 8(2):134-140. The research was to provide information to farmers on the use probiotics on catfish (Clarias sp.). The used of probiotics aimed to maintain balance pathogenic microbes and suppress activity in the digestive tract , and the environmental biodegradation waters through the process. This study aimed to compare of field Practice is to provide information to the people about the utilizing of probiotics for catfish (Clarias sp.) cultivation a plastic drums at Arisan Jaya village Ogan Ilir. The research used two plastic drum media as a catfish maintenance container, the first maintenance container there was no addition of probiotics, while in the second maintenance container there was the addition of probiotics. The parameters were observed in this study were absolute weight growth, absolute the length growth, survival, and water quality. The result of this research showed that growth of catfish cultivation in plastic pond with length of 3,51cm and weight of catfish the used probiotics of 17,15 g was higher than the growth length of 2,46 cm and weight of catfish were not using probiotics of 12,03 g. The survival rate of the catfish utilizing of probiotics cultivation in plastic drums with the use probiotics and not use probiotics was 100%.
This study aimed to analyze the quality of the waters and its relationship with the structure of phytoplankton communities and fish resources. This research was conducted in March 2021 at lake Teluk Gelam Ogan Komering Ilir. Phytoplankton sampling has been done once with 3 replays and there are 5 station points. Measurement of water quality parameters physical and chemical waters include temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), ammonia, brightness, turbidity, depth, nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate. Water quality analysis was calculated using the pollution index method (IP) and evaluated based on environmental quality standards according to the Decree of the State Minister for the Environment Number 115 of 2003. Based on the results of research that have been conducted in the lake Teluk Gelam district Ogan Komering Ilir that the overall average parameters of water quality in the lake were still an adequate condition for the life of organisms, especially phytoplankton. And based on the observations on the composition of phytoplankton structures in the waters of the lake Teluk Gelam found 3 classes of phytoplankton consisting of Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, and Cyanophyceae with a varied number of genera, while the fertility level of Teluk Gelam lake waters is included in the eutrophic category.
