Introdução: A gestação é um processo fisiológico que ocorre sem complicações na maioria dos casos. No entanto, algumas mulheres apresentam comorbidades, agravos ou desenvolvem problemas relacionados à gravidez. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo realizado através de levantamento bibliográfico na modalidade revisão integrativa de literatura sobre perfil clínico epidemiológico. A pesquisa de periódicos foi realizada através dos bancos de dados PubMed e Scielo. Resultados e discussão: Por meio dos 13 artigos utilizados neste estudo foi possível compreender o perfil epidemiológico das gestantes acompanhadas no pré-natal de alto risco, assim como os cuidados voltados às mesmas. Ressaltando a responsabilidade dos profissionais da saúde em atuar na educação das gestantes de modo especial aquelas consideradas de alto risco. A fim de informá-las sobre suas condições clínicas, fatores de riscos, estilo de vida saudável, relacionamento social, fatores que implicam como forma de prevenção capazes de induzir as mesmas ao autocuidado. Conclusão: Todos os estados têm investido em ações de enfrentamento da mortalidade materna e de fortalecimento da atenção à saúde materna. A redução da mortalidade materna no Brasil é ainda um desafio para os serviços de saúde e para a sociedade como um todo.
Objetivo: Identificar a prevalência das intercorrências obstétricas. Métodos: O estudo apresentou caráter retrospectivo, descritivo de corte transversal e análise quantitativa. Participaram da pesquisa as mulheres maiores de 18 anos, que tiveram gravidez e parto nos últimos 6 meses e que fossem cadastradas e acompanhadas pela Estratégia Saúde da Família de um município do Norte de Minas Gerais. Para coleta de dados foi utilizado o Google Formulário com a elaboração de um questionário desenvolvido pelas próprias pesquisadoras. Resultados: Em relação às principais intercorrências foi verificado que 27,3% das participantes tiveram infecção urinária durante a gravidez e 27,3% tiveram diabetes gestacional. Sobre a doença hipertensiva da gestação 22,7% tiveram, e a toxoplasmose teve apenas 4,5%. Em relação a doenças infecciosas, três participantes afirmaram que tiveram candidíase durante a gravidez (13,6%). Nenhuma das participantes nunca teve Sífilis e placenta prévia. Dentre outras intercorrências prevaleceu o colo do útero curto com (4,5%). Conclusão: Foi considerado um número significativo de mulheres que tiveram algum tipo de intercorrência durante a gravidez, sendo fator de risco para predispor a outras complicações. Nessa pesquisa constatou-se que as intercorrências que mais acometeram as participantes foram infecção urinária, diabetes mellitus gestacional e distúrbios hipertensivos.
Objetivo: caracterizar a produção científica acerca da saúde do homem no âmbito da atenção primária à saúde, levantando as evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre os motivos que levam à não adesão masculina aos serviços de saúde. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura. A busca bibliográfica ocorreu na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde na base de dados Scientific Eletronic Library Online- SCIELO e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), levando-se em consideração os artigos publicados entre os anos de 2001 e 2013; publicados em português e disponíveis na integra. Dos 21 artigos encontrados, selecionaram-se 18 para a realização do estudo. Resultados: após análise dos estudos selecionados, chegou-se a três temas que sintetizaram a produção estudada: imaginário masculino; principais barreiras encontradas na busca pelo serviço; e a atuação do profissional na atenção à saúde do homem. Conclusão: foi possível inferir que a produção científica acerca do tema abordado ainda é muito restrita, reforçando a necessidade de aprofundamento no assunto numa perspectiva relacional de gênero e saúde, uma vez que a baixa adesão dos homens aos serviços de atenção básica está fortemente ligada a questões referentes ao imaginário masculino e à manutenção de ideal de invulnerabilidade, que constitui importante fator de risco à saúde do homem.
