This study is a descriptive research study, which was conducted to determine personal and social responsibility levels of secondary school students. The research group is comprised of 602 (285 females, 317 males) students who are studying at the state schools under the Directorate of National Education in Konya Province. In obtaining the research data, Personal and Social Responsibility Scale (PSRS) was used, which was adopted to Turkish society by Filiz and Demirhan [1]. In the analysis of the research data, SPSS 22.0 program, independent t test and One Way ANOVA test were used. As the conclusion of the research, it was determined that, in general, the personal and social responsibility levels of the students were high, from "gender" variable point of view, female students had higher responsibility levels. From the "grade" variable point of view, the 5th and 6th grade students had higher responsibility levels compared to the h and 8th grades, the ones with sport training experience had higher levels, and the students, whose physical education teachers were female, had higher levels of personal and social responsibility.
This is a descriptive research study conducted to determine the unfair behaviors of secondary school students. The study was carried out on secondary school students studying at government schools in Konya province in 2017-2018 academic year. Totally 669 students (435 female, 234 male) volunteered to participate in this research study. The age average of the female participants was detected as 12.25, and that of male participants as 12.02. The present is a descriptive research, the purpose of which is defining leadership styles of futsal coaches, who serve as faculty members at higher education institutions in Turkey, from athletes' perceptions. The data were collected from 337 athletes (147 female, 188 male), who participated in UNILIG futsal competitions organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. "Leadership Scale for Sports: Athlete's Perceptions of Coach's Behaviour" adapted to Turkish by Güngörmüş et al. was utilized as the data collection tool. According to the findings of the present research conducted to define the leadership styles of futsal coaches, futsal players' perceptions of their coaches' educative supportive and explanatory awarding behaviours are negative, perceptions of democratic and autocratic behaviours are positive, female players' perceptions of educative teaching, democratic behaviours and explanatory-awarding behaviours are more positive than male players, and perceptions of democratic behaviours of athletes, who have been training with the same coach for 5 years are more positive than the ones, who have been training with the same coach for 3 years or less.
This is a descriptive research study, which was conducted to evaluate the perceptions and expectations of the members of sports centers concerning the service quality in the private or public sports centers. The universe of the study is comprised of individuals, who were members of private or public sports centers within the borders of Konya province. The sample group is comprised of 365 individuals from private and 371 individuals from public sports centers. Service Quality Assessment Scale was used as the data collection tool, which was developed by Lam (13) and adapted into Turkish by Gürbüz et al. (10). The data obtained from the scales were coded into computer environment, and statistical analyses were conducted via SPSS 22.00 program. As the conclusion, it was observed that the service quality perceptions of the research group concerning both private and public sports centers were negative. It was also determined that the service quality scores were negative in all of the subdimensions. In the comparison of the both types of the centers, it was determined that the service quality scores perceived in the private sports centers were higher.
This is a descriptive research study conducted to examine the attitudes of the high school students towards games. The universe of the study is composed of the high school students in the public schools under the Gaziantep Provincial Directorate for National Education. In total, 493 high school students (295 male, 198 female) participated in the sample group. In order to obtain the data for the research, Gaming Scale was used, which was developed by Hazar (2015). In the analysis of the data, Independent Sample Test, and One Way Anova Analysis were used. As the conclusion, it was determined that the male students have higher attitudes towards playing games with physical activities; risk taking attitude increases and social adaptation attitude decreases as the age and the class levels increase; first grade high school students have higher passion for game regarding the grade level; passion for game is generally high in all of the students; however, the ones with a sportive background have higher risk taking, social adaptation, desire for game, and pleasure attitudes; and Anatolian and Science high school students have higher social adaptation points compared to Vocational high school students.
