A Política Nacional dos Resíduos Sólidos (PNRS) possibilitou uma visão mais integrada da cadeia de resíduos, abordando a logística reversa, a responsabilidade compartilhada e o correto gerenciamento dos resíduos. Segundo o Relatório Pneumáticos 2020 do IBAMA, em 2019, apenas 15 municípios cearenses possuíam pontos de recebimento de pneus inservíveis. Frente a isso, o Governo do Ceará abriu o Edital de Chamamento nº 02/2020 para a implantação de sistemas de logística reversa de pneus inservíveis. Devido ao fato do serviço atender todos os municípios simultaneamente ser inviável financeiramente para o Estado, torna-se necessária a escolha de localidades estratégicas que consigam receber o maior número possível de pneumáticos e que possibilitem a efetividade do sistema. Diante disso, o presente trabalho objetiva verificar quais municípios são mais estratégicos para a implantação dos "Pontos de Coleta Centrais", considerando-se como parâmetros a frota de veículos, o número de habitantes e o tamanho da Central Municipal de Resíduos (CMR). Utilizou-se a ferramenta Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) com auxílio do software Excel para a verificação dos municípios preferíveis. Como resultado das avaliações, verificou-se quais os 3 municípios mais viáveis para servirem como "Pontos de Coleta Centrais" nos consórcios municipais de gestão de resíduos selecionados, utilizando atributos com os seguintes pesos: 40% para a frota de veículos, 20% para o número de habitantes e 40% para o tamanho da CMR. Constatou-se que os resultados obtidos podem servir como base para direcionar o Governo Estadual ao definir os municípios que possuirão Pontos de Coleta Centrais no sistema de logística reversa de pneus.
No Brasil, os cemitérios são carentes de planejamento e monitoramento ambiental, onde, em sua grande maioria, não há controle na construção e muito menos na fiscalização dos existentes. Ainda vivo o ser humano encontra-se em estado de equilíbrio como o seu meio, no entanto, após o seu falecimento, seu corpo tende a iniciar o processo de putrefação, caracterizado pela destruição dos tecidos do corpo por enzimas e bactérias, gerando o biogás e o necrochorume. Cada corpo decomposto libera em torno de 30 a 40 litros de necrochorume para cada 70 kg, em média, composta em sua maior parte por água, rico em sais minerais e substâncias orgânicas degradáveis, além de substâncias tóxicas como cadaverina e putrescina. O uso da matriz de SWOT revelou-se funcional para estudos ambientais uma vez que gera o ordenamento de aspectos de natureza antagônica (fortalezas e fragilidades). O presente trabalho teve por objetivo o uso da matriz SWOT para realizar uma análise de risco de um cemitério e sugerir a proposição de planos de ação para o local estudado. O estudo iniciou-se com uma revisão bibliográfica baseada na legislação pertinente sobre o tema, servindo de suporte ao desenvolvimento do estudo. Os subsídios utilizados para análise da situação da área foram coletados através de visitas técnicas a campo com registros fotográficos, entrevistas informais com os administradores e funcionários do cemitério analisado. Diante do diagnóstico, foi possível montar uma matriz onde foram observadas questões referentes aos pontos fortes e fracos relacionados a fatores internos e externos do cemitério analisado, gerando uma matriz 6 x 6, de 36 cruzamentos. O quadrante III identificou o nível de debilidade máxima da capacidade ofensiva (QIII = 18) indicando o quanto as fraquezas causam problemas para o aproveitamento das oportunidades. Já o quadrante IV apresentou o nível de vulnerabilidade do ambiente estudado (QIV = 17), indicando o conjunto de fraquezas que aumentaram o efeito das ameaças. A Matriz de SWOT cruzada confirmou que o prejuízo causado pelo cemitério não está apenas associado a impactos do meio ambiente, mas também aos impactos socioeconômicos. A necessidade de investimentos pelo poder público deve ser uma das principais metas para redução dos impactos apresentados.
