Este trabajo aborda la percepción que tienen los universitarios sobre la violencia emitida en la ficción audiovisual. La muestra está compuesta por 230 alumnos del grado de Periodismo de la Universidad de Málaga. La metodología utilizada es un cuestionario online de preguntas cerradas a partir de un muestreo aleatorio simple. Los resultados indican que los participantes carecen de competencias mediáticas para analizar de forma crítica los contenidos violentos de ficción. Se concluye con la necesidad de reforzar la formación mediática de los estudiantes para que cuenten con una mayor capacidad de análisis y minimizar, así, su impacto e influencia.
En este trabajo se analizan los actos de violencia sexual de la miniserie I Can Destroy You (HBO, 2020) con el fin de conocer qué tratamiento se hace en la ficción de ellos y de identificar los principales rasgos definitorios de su representación desde tres grandes perspectivas: los personajes implicados (agresor y víctima), el acto de violencia sexual acometido y las consecuencias de dicho acto para la víctima. Para ello, se recurre a una metodología centrada en el análisis de contenido y, a partir de una ficha de análisis, se registran y se categorizan los datos para su posterior análisis e interpretación. Los resultados obtenidos ponen de manifiesto que la representación de la violencia sexual se hace desde una perspectiva feminista, alejada de estereotipos que contribuyan a perpetuar la mirada hegemónica masculina y que cuenta con una visión divulgativa que pretende educar la mirada del espectador en materia de consentimiento y libertad sexual.
El presente artículo analiza las dos temporadas de Muñecas, la webserie emitida por la plataforma Flooxer, que gira en torno a las situaciones afectivas y sexuales de un grupo de mujeres, en su mayoría lesbianas, que acuden a una terapia grupal. El objetivo principal de este trabajo se centra en conocer si en esta ficción digital se perpetúa o se rompe con los clásicos estereotipos con los que se ha representado al personaje lésbico en la ficción, sobre todo, teniendo en cuenta la libertad temática que caracteriza a las webseries. Para ello, se analizará desde una perspectiva cualitativa a los personajes lésbicos más relevantes de esta webserie para caracterizarlos desde un ámbito personal, profesional y social. Los resultados desvelan que Muñecas rompe con los estereotipos con los que tradicionalmente se ha representado a estos personajes en la ficción serial, al estar alejados del mundo heterocéntrico, así como de los prejuicios y estigmatizaciones sociales. A partir de este estudio de caso, se puede señalar que Internet y las webseries son espacios con mayor libertad para desmontar estereotipos y dotar de mayor visibilidad a la diversidad sexual.
