ABSTRAKPenghematan pada konsumsi listrik rumah tangga akan memberikan dampak pada konsumsi listrik nasional. Penelitian menunjukkan pemantauan terhadap konsumsi listrik rumah tangga akan memberikan dampak pada penghematan konsumsi listrik hingga 30%. Beberapa penelitian terkait pengembangan pemantauan terhadap konsumsi listrik rumah tangga masih menunjukkan hasil yang kurang memuaskan. Pada penelitian ini akan dikembangkan sistem pemantauan energi khususnya untuk beban rumah tangga berbasis teknologi IoT, sehingga dapat dilakukan pemantauan menggunaan energi listrik rumah tangga menggunakan aplikasi android di perangkat komunikasi telepon seluler (ponsel). Hasil pengujian akurasi pengukuran, dilakukan dengan membandingkan data pengukuran dengan alat ukur lain, menunjukkan pembacaan arus memiliki rata-rata error sebesar 0% sementara pembacaan tegangan memiliki rata-rata error sebesar 0,06%.Kata kunci: IoT, power meter, power monitor, konsumsi energi ABSTRACTThe savings on household electricity consumption will have an impact on national electricity consumption. Research shows that monitoring of household electricity consumption will have an impact on saving electricity consumption up to 30%. Direct monitoring starts from using cable to wireless technology. Some studies realated to developments of energy consumption monitoring still show unsatisfactory results.In this research will be developed energy monitoring system especially for household load based on IoT technology, so that can be monitored the use of household electrical energy using android application in communication device, handphone. The result of measurement measurement accuracy is done by comparing measurement data with other measuring instrument, indicating current reading has an average error of 0% while the voltage reading has an average error of 0.06%.
One the prob lem of electric power stab ility is due to load fluctuations in distrib ution system especialy during peak load conditions. One solution which is applied in Smart Grid scheme is through load shifting or power shifting. In load shifting the load with high power consumption which operates at peak load shifted its operations outside of the peak load o r s some loads with high power consumption do not operate at the same time, there is a load whose operating time is shifted to reduce peak power. Power shifting is used when energy from renewab le source not directly suplied to load b ut storage first and supplied to reduce high power consumption to reduce peak power. Low load factor, ratio b etween average power to peak power, may affect to power system operation. If load factor of residential load can keep in low, it will b e certainly help improve the stab ility of the power system. In this study we will examine the comparison of load shifting method with power shifting in improving load factor. Load shifting is done to water pumps and washing machines, b ecause washing machine is shiftab le load. Power shiftin g is made to the output power of the solar power plant, which is used to reduce peak power from the water pump. Test results show that power shifting can increase load factor value up to 54,9% while load shifting give load factor value equal to 43,9%.
The use of grid tie inverter (GTI) in household electricity is intended to reduce the use of electricity from utilities. The configuration of GTI usually does not use batteries and the excess power from PV will be sent to the grid so that it will substitute utility electricity with electricity from GTI. However, this can occur when follow net metering program by installing a export-import kwh meters (two-way kwh meter) or follow feed in tariff program. If the kwh meter used does not support this capability or not following both program, the electric power of GTI will not substitute power from the utility. GTI with power limiter allows the inverter to work like a GTI in general but does not send excess power to the utility. The excess power from PV can be stored into the battery so that when the power shortage of PV will be substituted with power stored in the battery is not from the utility. In this research, conducted a study of the performance of the GTI with a power limiter and compared it with the GTI without a power limiter that works on an electricity network. The results of the study show that the use of GTI with a power limiter can increase the reduction in power usage from utilities by up to 40%.
Penetapan peraturan ESDM Nomor 49 Tahun 2018 telah mengeluarkan peraturan terkait instalasi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS), serta program pemerintah gerakan nasional sejuta surya atap, telah membuka peluang kerja bagi generasi muda yang belum memiliki pekerjaan. Akan tetapi untuk terlibat dalam program nasional tersebut harus memiliki kompetensi instalasi PLTS. Kabupaten Bandung Barat saat ini memiliki tingkat pengangguran yang cukup tinggi dengan jumlah pengangguran mencapai 65.000 orang. Desa Ciwaruga sebagai salah satu desa yang menjadi penyumbang jumlah pengangguran. Melalui koordinasi Remaja Masjid Jamie Babussalam dilakukan kegiatan yang bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi agar menambah daya saing dalam mencari pekerjaan. Terkait prospek bisnis PLTS atap, maka sangat tepat jika pada kelompok remaja masjid tersebut diberikan pelatihan melalui kegiatan tentang instalasi PLTS. Metode kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan pembinaan Listrik Rumah Tangga Tenaga Surya (LRTS). Hasil kegiatan berupakan peningkatan skill dan pengetahuan LRTS, sertifikat serta rencana kerjasama selanjutnya dari Desa Ciwaruga dengan Tim PKM.
