The central library of National Law University Delhi has rich collection of law e-books from various publishers. These e-books were available to the faculty and students through different publisher platforms and it was difficult to find them subject-wise. Library is currently using LIBSYS-7 automation software. The paper depicts detailed experiment carried out to weave these e-books into library catalogue through LIBSYS-7. The whole technical process is described step by step and searching e-books through OPAC. The e-books can be searched subject-wise along-with print books and their full text can be downloaded through OPAC. This experiment establishes library catalogue as core source of information of all library resources. Users get benefitted to a great extent in finding their desired e-book through library catalogue. Other libraries having rich e-book collection may adopt this practice for the benefit of their end-users.
Purpose

The whole conference is articulated in the form of a Conference Report.
Findings
The conference provided an opportunity for participants to share ideas, reach some consensus, agree on differences of opinion and create a future action agenda. All the participants from all different backgrounds were able to bring new things to light and deliberate on contemporary issues related to knowledge trends and digital strategies that will lead to smart future.
Originality/value
The International Conference on Digital Transformation-2019 on the theme of “A Cognitive learning towards Artificial Intelligence” was convened by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab, India during September 6-8, 2019 in Patiala, Punjab, India.
With the advent of Internet and new technologies variety of information sources are coming up. The thirst of information in R&D activities has become ever growing and ever demanding. The information is becoming more digital and people are getting easy access to abundant information which leads to the temptation of using and copying it and stealing other ideas without knowing the implications and without acknowledging the original contributor in completion of their research and projects. The act of stealing original work without acknowledging its author/contributor is plagiarism that has become an accelerating issue in this era of Information & Communication Technology. This paper provides an overview about plagiarism, plagiarism in research, and various commercial and free plagiarism detection tools available. Further the paper presents the latest plagiarism cases reported from India and abroad and initiatives taken by academic and research institutes in India to detect and prevent plagiarism.
