Background: Online learning provides many opportunities for student to learn and achive their goal so its important to study the relation between it and their academic satisfaction. Aim: This study aimed to assess nursing student's perception regarding online learning and its relation to their academic satisfaction.. Subjects and Methods: Descriptive cross sectional design was used to carry out this study. This study was conducted at the Faculty of Nursing-Ain Shams University. The subjects of this study included the first and fourth academic years from afore mentioned setting through the academic year (2021-2022). The subjects included 242 out of (688) nurse students. Data collection tool: was two tools namely Perceived Online Learning Questionnaire and Undergraduate Nursing Students' Academic Satisfaction Scale. The results: showed that, more than two-thirds (69.4%) of the studied nursing students have moderate level of total online learning. Also, one-quarter (25.6%) of them have high level. While, only (5%) of them have low level..Conclusion: the nursing students had moderate perception level and high satisfaction level regarding online learning, and there was a highly statistically significant positive relation between total nursing students' perciption regarding online learning and their total satisfaction levels. E-learning platforms are easily adjustable during abrupt crises, such as COVID-19 Recommendations: The online teaching methodology must incorporate many e tools and techniques in a collaborative way to make the learning interactive where students can feel social presence and more satisfy.
Background: Autonomy is the main component of professional nursing practice, which leads to improve patient outcomes. Nurses who have a higher degree of autonomy in their practice provide fine patient care. Aim: This study aimed to assess the relationship between professional image and autonomy among staff nurses. Design: A descriptive correlational design was utilized for conducting the study. Setting: conducted at Benha ophthalmic hospital which affiliated to Egyptian ministry of health. Subjects: Convenience sample of 140 staff nurses. Tools of data collection:The data in this study were collected by using two tools namely perceptions of professional nursing tool (PPNT) & autonomy questionnaire. Results: More than half 51.4% of the studied nurses had a moderate level of perception regarding professional image. While, nearly two third of the studied nurses had a moderate autonomy. Conclusion: It concluded that there was a highly positive correlation between staff nurses' professional image and their autonomy. Recommendation: Nurse managers should encourage staff nurses to participate in decision-makings and provide continuous in-service education to increase nurses' knowledge base to improve autonomy.
Background: Organization trust is one of the major topics in sociology and should be acquired as a basis for social order in various fields and at different levels. Aim: This study aimed to investigate organizational trust and nursing teachers' performance (TP). Subjects and method: Descriptive correlational design was used. The study subjects included (50) nurse teachers'. Setting: the study was conducted at Imbaba Health Institute. Tools of data collection: organizational trust questionnaire and an observational checklist. Results: More than half of the study subjects had a moderate perception level regarding total organizational trust. More than one-third of them had a high perception level regarding total organizational trust. While of nursing teachers' had adequate performance levels. Conclusion: There was a statistically significant positive correlation between total organizational trust and total performance level among nursing teachers. Recommendations: Periodical assessment of nursing teachers needs to share in curriculum development.
