Toplumsal ve ulusal görevleri olan üniversitelerin bu görevleri yerine getirmede en önemli gücü bünyelerinde çalıştırdıkları akademik personelleridir. Çalışma hayatı, diğer faaliyetler ile karşılaştırıldığında birey yaşantısının büyük bir bölümünü oluşturmaktadır. Dolayısı ile çalışma hayatı bireylerin iş dışı yaşamını da etkisi altına alarak sosyal hayatın gelişimi, planlanması ve idamesinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Ayrıca hayatın devam ettirilmesi için gerekli olan ekonomik kazancın elde edilmesini sağlayan temel kaynaktır. Bu kapsamda çalışanların yaptıkları işlerden mutlu olmaları ve haz duymaları bireysel ve toplumsal hayatı olumlu etkileyecektir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; mesleki doyum ve iş motivasyonunun öğretim elemanı performansı üzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenmesidir. Nedensel araştırma deseninin kullanıldığı araştırmanın hipotezleri, teorik yapıya ilişkin literatür taraması neticesinde kurulan yapısal eşitlik modeli ile sınanmıştır. Bu kapsamda devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerinde görev yapan toplam 477 akademisyenin katılımıyla kolayda örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak toplanan araştırma verileri SPSS ve AMOS programlarıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde mesleki doyum ve iş motivasyonunun öğretim elemanı performansını pozitif yönde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.
The aviation industry is currently on a path to becoming climate-neutral and various stakeholders such as airlines, airports, and regulatory bodies are setting targets to achieve this goal. The purpose of this chapter is to explain aviation's contribution to climate change and the existing efforts of the industry to reduce and mitigate climate impact. The chapter covers recent evidence suggesting that our changing climate is beginning to impact the industry, largely in a negative manner. Therefore, the industry will need to plan and adapt to its changing environment while developing new technologies and approaches. The challenges and opportunities of alternative aircraft fuel and energy source are presented, along with modifications to infrastructure that will accelerate the transition to a carbon and climate-neutral industry.
Helicopter is a very important defence and attack tool for a country’s armed forces (army) (air force). With the rapid progress of technology, the designs of helicopters, the hardware and software elements in the helicopter have also been renewed and developed in parallel with advanced technology. Therefore, it is expected that the pilots who will use helicopters, which are an important flight tool of armed forces, will also have the qualifications to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and criteria. The aim of the study is to determine the military helicopter pilot selection criteria and to find the importance levels of these criteria. For this purpose, three main criteria as “Health”, “Psychomotor” and “Education and Training” and thirteen sub-criteria were determined. The weights of the determined criteria were found by the Grey SWARA method, which is a current multi criteria decision making tool. According to the results of the analysis, it is found that the most important sub-criteria was “Practical Training”, while the lowest important criteria was the “Height and weight limits” criterion. With this study, the weights of the military helicopter pilot selection criteria were found for the first time with the Grey SWARA method.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an expression used by companies to show that they are aware that their role in society or in the community in which they operate is not just to seek profit.According to the European Commission (2011), corporate social responsibility is defined as "the responsibility of companies for the impact they have on society.The pandemic has challenged many companies and economies and affected millions of people, emphasizing the need for collaboration and alignment between economic activity and human needs. It is time for all companies to put into practice actions that honor the purpose and organizational values that are intrinsic to their “personality” and that reflect the willingness to work with others to solve the great problems of our world, simultaneously building and building trust. much needed in our society.To analyze the challenges facing social responsibility practices, a qualitative methodology was used, through the literature review method, using various sources: scientific articles, legislation and other technical-scientific documentation.This descriptive article contributed to the debate in which CSR is a matter of attitude, apart from the fact that each company does what it can according to its resources; because it is not a matter of social action, but of social responsibility. The social responsibility is a more global and larger concept than social action.The main conclusion suggests that the actions that business leaders take today will be decisive so that, in the near future, they can look back and feel proud and satisfied with what they have done. What is done today, in terms of social responsibility, will define the value and reputation of the company, strengthening its purpose and values. It is therefore an investment worth betting on.The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are also an opportunity for companies to expand Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), an initiative that constitutes one of the global efforts to translate sustainable development into something concrete and measurable.
In this study, the situation of the Turkish aviation industry during COVID-19 was examined. Turkish aviation industry entered a rapid growth phase in the 21st century, great developments were achieved in aviation with the investments made, and the share received from the world aviation industry grew day by day. However, this growth has been hit hard by the emerging COVID-19 pandemic. There have been great losses in passenger and freight transport. It is considered that the compensation of these losses will take a long time. In addition, in this study, the steps taken by the aviation authority and aviation companies to prevent the pandemic and to reduce its effects for the COVID-19 pandemic were evaluated.
This article examines the progress of academic research on aviation in Turkey. The foundations of aviation were scanned in Dergipark Academic publications. Publications on aviation were reviewed to illustrate what kind of themes were researched by Turkish academics and what were the tendencies of Turkish academics to study regarding aviation. The research, covering a period of 6 years from 2016 to 2021, was carried out by thoroughly examining the publications available in electronic database of Turkish Dergipark Academic. In this research, 170 publication which includes "aviation" in their title were found. The data were analyzed through a bibliometric method by using content analysis. The findings have been evaluated regarding the topics on which academic articles on aviation have been focused up to now and the areas with opportunities for research in future studies.

ÖZ 2019 yılında patlak veren ve tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan Covid-19 pandemisi havacılık işletmelerin uçuşlarını kademeli olarak durdurmasına ve satılan bilet ve rezervasyonları iptal etmesine sebep olmuştur. İptal edilen uçuşlar sebebiyle seyahat planlarını değiştirmek zorunda kalan, bilet ve rezervasyonları iptal edilen yolcuların memnuniyet düzeylerinde azalma olduğu değerlendirilmektedir. Uçuşların yeniden başlaması ile birlikte seyahatlerinde tekrar havayolunu tercih edecek yolcuların bu tercihlerinde yaşadıkları tecrübelerin tercihlerini etkileyeceği değerlendirilmektedir. Bu kapsamda havayolu işletmelerinin pandemi sırasında uyguladıkları kriz yönetim stratejilerinin bu değişime yön vermesi kaçınılmazdır. Ayrıca havacılık işletmelerinin sahip oldukları kurumsal itibarın tüketici tercihlerini etkileyeceği değerlendirilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; algılanan kriz yönetimi ile marka tercihi arasındaki ilişkide kurumsal itibarın aracılık rolünün incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın hipotezleri seyahatlerinde havayolu ulaşımını tercih eden toplam 204 yolcu üzerinde test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda algılanan kriz yönetimi ile marka tercihi arasındaki ilişkide kurumsal itibarın anlamlı etkisinin mevcut olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
