Remote work endows with flexibility, and this flexibility makes or breaks work-life balance. This research establishes the association of flexible work arrangements with the work-life balance of gig workers. Besides, the moderation of Ryff's six-factor psychological well-being model is also investigated. The quantitative research method was used to collect data via an adapted questionnaire. The target population was the freelancers of selected five Facebook groups. SPSS-21 was used for descriptive and inferential statistics. For moderation, Peacher's and Hayes' process macro was performed. Data were collected from 384 respondents. After pilot testing, We performed data screening and data normality. Later, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, and correlation) and inferential statistics (hypotheses testing through regression) were performed. Flexible work arrangements have a direct and significant influence on work-life balance. The moderating role of Ryff's six-factor model of psychological well-being is not established. This research endows valuable recommendations to the gig economy and other home-shored businesses/organizations to provide flexible work arrangements during the COVID pandemic, so that they could balance their work and life responsibilities. The policy implications are provided in detail in the respective section. This study is unique as the gig sector is less explored in the South Asian context.
ZnO which are used as nanoparticles have been used in many varieties of paint, beautifiers, elastics, and covering. Just because of its biocompatibility, low toxicity as well as economic viability which are known as its exceptional cases, it has been the most used nanoparticle of metal oxides in many applications for the last twenty years. It can release particles of zinc, ability to induce cell death as well as the ability for producing oxygen species in excessive amounts. Due to its vast application in technology, it is also used in applications of biomedicines such as anticancer as well as antibacterial. Zinc also play important role in maintaining insulin credibility. Nanoparticles of zinc have been widely used for diabetes treatment. Additionally, it has been exceptionally dazzling applications that have leading them to be a candidate for use in bio imaging. Here, we are going to summarize the synthesis as well as continuing developments of nanoparticles of ZnO in the sector of biomedical, which may useful for fostering more advancement in the field of medicine and focusing on the areas of biomedical.
The current research was planned to investigate the efficacy of integrated Islamic Art Interventions on stress and resilience among undergraduate university students. After screening on Stress levels with Students Stress Inventory, 10 participants were selected with moderate to severe stress from a public sector university. Furthermore another questionnaire were also used to measure the resilience which was a Brief Resilience Scale. The responses on questionnaires were taken before intervention and also post intervention. The results were generated and analyzed through SPSS (26 Version). The results of paired sample t-test indicate that Islamic Art Interventions significantly decrease the stress levels and significantly increasing the resilience levels among undergraduate university students. This carries implications for psychologists and educationists for using Islamic Art Interventions for improving the academic and personal life issues in the student population.
Photocatalytic activity is a commonly used the function of semiconductor nanoparticles of CdO. CdO nanocomposites were analyzed by X-pillar diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X-bar (EDX), high objective transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), Raman spectroscopy (RS), brilliant clear spectroscopy (UV–Vis.) and photo-luminescence (PL) spectroscopy techniques. Photocatalytic activity of the arranged models has been investigated under UV light. The decrease in the power of surge tops exhibits that the photo generated charge carriers have been moved from CdO NPs sheets, which causes to build the thickness of O2−and •OH progressives in the shading arrangement. The normal molecule sizes of CdO nanoparticles were found to be 14 nm. The blended CdO nanoparticles were utilized as photo catalyst some dyes are RhB, MY, MB, ARS etc. The photo degradation of methylene blue was advanced under different response conditions, for example impetus stacking, color focus, temperature, and pH. The upgraded photocatalytic activity can be attributed to synergistic impact of CdO.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
