В настоящее время основными причинами материнской смертности в странах с невысоким уровнем жизни по-прежнему остаются акушерские кровотечения (38,6%), инфекционные осложнения (26,4%), а также преэклампсия и эклампсия (18,2%). Эти данные опубликованы в 2017 г. в результате проспективного изучения причин материнской смертности в таких странах, как Демократическая республика Конго, Гватемала, Индия, Кения, Пакистан и Замбия [1]. В экономически развитых странах (Япония, Франция, Великобритания и др.) структура материнской смертности несколько иная. Инфекционные и септические осложнения встречаются крайне редко, а причинами смерти являются по-прежнему акушерские кровотечения, эмболия околоплодными водами, тромбоэмболии, а также преэклампсия и эклампсия [2-4]. Однако в последние годы, по данным анализа материнской и перинатальной смертности от кардиологических причин в экономически развитых странах, одним из основных, превышая иногда по частоте легочную гипертензию и кардиомиопатии, явилось поражение аорты различной этиологии с последующим ее расслаиванием [5, 6].
