The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship of good university governance, teaching quality of lecturers and student satisfaction. It also aims to examine the effect of learning facilities on good university governance and student satisfaction. 361 students of the Faculty of Economics, Semarang State University, were involved in this study using proportionate random sampling. Then, to gather the data, a questionnaire was distributed, and the data were analyzed by applying SEM-PLS. The results showed that good university governance, teaching quality of lecturers, and learning facilities had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction. The teaching quality of lecturers is proven to be influenced by good university governance. In addition, learning facilities also have a significant effect on good university governance.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of knowledge and trust on intention to pay zakah. This study also tests the the effect of knowledge, trust, and intention to pay zakah on zakah-paying behavior. The population of the research comprises the employees of the Ministry of Religion, specifically in the Semarang municipal region. The method of data collection used is a questionnaire which has been developed from those used by previous researchers. Path analysis was used to analyze the data by using warpPls 6.0. The results show that knowledge and trust have a postive and significant effect on the employees’ intention to pay zakah and their zakah-paying behavior. Intention to pay zakah has no impact of on zakah-paying behavior. Knowledge has a high positive effect on intention to pay zakah and zakah-paying behavior. This research suggests that zakah organizations should increase their trust by improving their performance and service quality. They should organize education and dissemination activities to improve zakah payers’ knowledge.
This study aims to understand the determinant of the employee's intention to use information system within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Information System Success Model (ISSM). This paper also aims to examine the influence of ISSM dimension on the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use. The research respondents were 248 employees of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) who are users of the Financial Information System (SIKEU). Data was obtained using a questionnaire that was distributed online via Google form. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis using the Warp-PLS software. The results showed that the dimensions of TAM (perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness) had a positive and significant influence on the employee's intention to use SIKEU. The ISSM dimension (system quality and information quality) also had a significant influence, although other ISSM dimensions (service quality) had not been proven to have a significant influence on the employee's intention to use SIKEU. Moreover, the results showed that the employee's intention to use is a determinant of SIKEU's actual usage. Perceived ease of use was significantly determined by system quality, information quality, and service quality. In addition, the perceived usefulness was significantly determined by system quality and information quality.
The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of empowering leadership for the employee creativity through mediating role of motivation to learn, trust in leader, creative self-efficacy, and the moderating role of openness to experience variable. Questionnaire was used as the data collection method. For the sampling technique, it used a multi-stage sampling technique. The number of samples is 220 employees of state-owned banks in the city of Semarang, Indonesia. The data analysis used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method with WarpPLS 6.0. Result of this research the leader empowerment has a positive effect on motivation to learn, trust in leader, creative self-efficacy and employee creativity. In addition, the results of the study also show that motivation to learn, trust in leader, and creative self-efficacy have a positive impact on employee creativity. The role of motivation to learn, trust in leader and creative self-efficacy is supported to mediate between empowerment on employee creativity. Also, openness to experience variable is supported as a moderation role.
This study was to evaluate the effects of feed supplements containing tannins, NPN and mineral on milk yield and milk quality of dairy cattle. Nine lactating dairy cows were designed in experiment by a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment consists of R0: Total Mixed Ration (TMR); RA: TMR + supplements A; RB: TMR + supplement B. The results showed that supplementation of feed supplements A and B were no effect on milk yield and quality but were had significantly different effect on Milk production efficiency for MPE (Milk yield/FCM). Feed supplement A can increase milk yield by 20.88% and feed supplement B increase milk yield by 8.07% compare with only TMR feeding. All supplementation feed supplement had average milk yield higher than control feed. In conclusion the feed supplements increase feed efficiency for dairy cattle. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dasar teori model konseptual resolusi kepemimpinan dan konflik, mengamati pengaruhnya untuk kepuasan kerja, komitmen dan efektivitas organisasi. Penelitian ini melakukan tes empiris mengenai hubungan antara variabel-variabel, yaitu gaya kepemimpinan adaptif, resolusi konflik, kepuasan kerja, komitmen afektif dan efektivitas organisasi. This study seeks to examine empirically the effect of leadership style on organizational commitment and organizational effectiveness. The data are from all departments of the undergraduate program at the State University in Central Java, Indonesia. The study comprises all divisions of the undergraduate program, which amounted to 207 people. The method for sampling is based on simple random sampling. Structural equation modeling (SEM) is applied in order to analyze the data. The results show that integrative adaptive leadership style has a positive effect on teamwork and affective commitment. Therefore, in order to improve teamwork, the organization should be assisted in completing the introduction of collaborative conflict resolution. Moreover, affective commitment positively affects organizational effectiveness. Thus, it can be said that efforts to improve the organizational effectiveness, should be supported by affective commitment. The study further revealed that integrative adaptive leadership style has a positive effect on teamwork. This means better execution of integrative adaptive leadership, higher level of coordination and vice versa. Each member has different responsibilities and duties, and it can be done or resolved in different ways. If the leader can accommodate the creativity of the faculty and staff, a solid team can be formed.
