Розглянуто методологічні підходи до оцінки загальних радіаційних впливів майданчика «Вектор» на персонал та населення з урахуванням специфічних особливостей розміщення майданчика в Чорнобильській зоні відчуження.
Розглянуто питання достовірного сортування радіаційно забрудненого ґрунту при виконанні земляних робіт на майданчику об'єкта "Укриття" під час будівництва нового безпечного конфайнменту. Запропоновано критерії достовірності сортування, засновані на вимогах до обмеження поточного та потенційного опромінення.
Запропоновано варіант сортування, заснований на вимірюванні картограми потужності експозиційної дози та обмеженні товщини шару одноразово добуваного ґрунту.
Розглянуто основні положения нормативного акта «Вимоги до виб ору майданчика для розміщення сховища для захоронения радіоактивних відходів», яким встановлено технічні та організаційні вимоги до вибору майданчиків для сховищ РАВ приповерхневого та геологічного типу.
Виконано інтегральний аналіз підвищення безпеки об’єкта «Укриття» Чорнобильської АЕС внаслідок реалізації на ньому відповідних проектів з погляду зменшення потенційних радіаційних впливів на персонал: ймовірностей критичних подій, потенційного опромінення.
Проаналізовано зв’язки між варіантом остаточного захоронення та потребами в довгостроковому зберіганні радіоактивних відходів з огляду на пропозиції щодо можливих змін схеми класифікації РАВ у цілях захоронення. Розглянуто концептуальний підхід до проектування сховищ для зберігання довгоіснуючих РАВ на майданчику комплексу виробництв «Вектор» та підходи щодо застосування вимог нормативних документів, принципів і критеріїв радіаційної безпеки в проектуванні сховищ для довготривалого зберігання Р АВ та оцінки рівня їх безпеки.
