Forecast with respect to of reproductive function and quality of further life after gynecological operations is mainly determined by possible postoperative adhesions. Adequate intra-operating antiadhesivе prevention with the use of a complex gel which contains hyaluronic acid and carboxymethylcellulose contributes to reduction the risk of the pelvic adhesions and adhesion-related complications.
Increased interest to the vaginal microecosystems is largely due to the fact that the role of evolutionary formed microbial populations in this habitat lies not only in the maintenance of vaginal colonization resistance, but also in formation of microecological health of newborns, and consequently, the human population in general. The formation of the qualitative and quantitative composition of microflora is regulated by a complex mechanism of microbial interactions inside each of microecosystems and is controlled by physiological factors of the host organism in the dynamics of his life.
The article considers the features of Fe deficite anemia in patients with uterine fibroid. Their own studies of preoperative management of such patients using the drug of bivalent iron and selective protein modulator in progesterone receptors are presented.
Objective of the Paper: To describe options for effective treatment, with high compliance rates, of bacterial vaginosis (BV). Key Points: Bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause of abnormal vaginal discharge in women of reproductive age. The paper describes some options for effective treatment, with high compliance rates, of BV and includes clinical cases of the use of clindamycin in obstetric/gynecological practice. Conclusion: High rates of compliance with the treatment, low rates of recurrence, a short duration of treatment, and a low incidence of side effects support the use of clindamycin in the treatment of BV. Keywords: bacterial vaginosis, abnormal vaginal discharge, biofilms, clindamycin, Dalacin.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
