Gili-Trawangan is one of three of the most popular tourist destination in Lombok. It"s located lined with 3 other destinations. Based on the comparison of three approaches derived of coastal-ecotourism, it is found that the impact of tourism is determined by the relationship and interaction between the economic-natural, environment, socio-cultural variables, and sub-systems. There are three main issues that should be done to improve coastal ecotourism performance in Gili-Trawangan: sustainable living patterns, conserving coastal community resources, and enhancing regional economic-development. To address environmental concerns, it"s needed to maintain environmental cleanliness and minimum of building sites. Besides, it is necessary to conserve a mangrove, sea grass beds, coral reefs, and marine fish as well as ecotourism-fishing. It can be used as a marine fishing tourism too. The effort would increase the number of tourist visits and it"s also increase the income of the community and local government.
Indonesia's tourism-ministry is targeting 20 million foreign tourists' visiting Indonesia in 2019. Moreover, traveling to the natural-coastal eco-tourism becomes a tourist's trend and their priority's decision on considering their leisure time's plan. "Pasir Putih" beach is one of the natural beach-tourism, have been attractive natural-scenic in Lampung. The existing performance indicated that the destination is quite ordinary. Therefore, the visitation of tourist to Lampung increased averagely up to 30% annually. While, recently there has been some environmental quality problem such as a damage to coral reefs and sea grass beds around the destination. This lowers the quality to the environment in the future that will impact the quantities, and the visit of tourists. It is extremely clear visible in the results of gap analysis tourism performance bunch, who demonstrate the need for effort to control the utilization of the beach environment and implement programs for the coast protection of coastal areas for improving and maintaining its quality, which is very important, because such activity can provide economic contribution to the community and local government. Moreover, on the supply sides, travel agent collaborates with travel agency get to reduce the negative impact of coastal-tourism activity by conserving various coral reefs, sea grass. This effort would occur by developing local-community empowerment on conserving both sides of coastal-destination that becomes the favorites scenic for them on developing natural coastal tourism along the coastline.
The aim of the research is to conserve Anyer coastal environment from negative environmental impact and improving coastal and coastline competitiveness by implementing the ecotourism concept. 216 data were collected by triangulation technique: open observation; structured interview, and interview, in the one-year Anyer sub-district and tabulated by content analysis based on ecotourism and competitiveness concepts with zoning and landscaping as well. It conserved spatial planning and decreased hospitality industry pollution and coral reef and seaweed as well as open new sea natural scenery, following coastline border regulation and conserve: coastal environment from utilizing coastal ecotourism activities. It also develops open new natural sea view and water recreation opportunity spectrum provided with water resources as an along the coastline zone, and coastal ecotourism attractions with undersea life.
Resolving issues of tourism development needed to be supporting and resolved with the help of local government. Currently, the problem of regional tourism development did not base on the development of environment and ecosystem. National economic development is neither regional nor local. Nevertheless, the role of community involvement in tourism activities is necessary. In addition, it needed to develop of transportation infrastructure related to regional activities. Coastal ecotourism has proven to be the largest foreign exchange contributor to a region or country. For that reason, applying this concept, it could improve coastal tourism performance. In the long term, this tourism sector can defeat the mining, oil and gas sectors. Furthermore, the Ministry of Tourism states that Indonesia's tourism potential is prospective. This one-year quantitative and qualitative study conducted on the coast of Ora, Maluku, Indonesia. Randomly data obtained and distributed over questionnaires among stakeholders. The data has tabulated by using content analysis. The results of this study indicate that three of the six sub-concept's attributes are the main priorities. The rest of the attributes show that there are some culinary, fishery, cultural and marine ism potentials. They can contribute economically to local communities and local governments.
