Destruction of reinforced concrete supports is a complex physical and chemical temporary process. The inevitability of destruction is due to the nature of the materials used and the activity of the environment. Centrifuged concrete is an extremely heterogeneous material over the thickness of the products made thereof: in centrifuged structures, several layers are formed over the wall thickness, which differ in their texture and structure. While in operation, the supports are subjected to a complex temperature impact, microorganisms and chemically active media have an impact on them. In addition to the main adverse factors, it is worth noting the effect of the electromagnetic field of the catenary suspension, the impact of which promotes the formation of transverse cracks mainly in the upper part of the support. Therefore, this phenomenon requires the study and development of reinforced concrete support diagnostics and monitoring facilities to provide continuous movement of railway transport and prevent support breakage and falling.
Estimation of the traction energy system reliability and efficiency due to timely and immediate identification of heating sites of contact joints is the future-oriented technology for the condition oriented service and repair of the electrical equipment of energy providers. It is peculiar with the roughly alternating load of the electric current action during the day. This makes it difficult to identify the current state of the electrical connection. Thus, it becomes necessary to specify the dependence of changes in the assessment criteria of the electrical connection condition in operation.
This article provides the economic assessment of the application of digital in-formation exchange technologies at electric power facilities of Transenergo, a branch of the JSC Russian Railways, which is one of the first in the world to implement a pilot project of a specialized traction substation of the railway transport. One of the goals of the Digital traction substation project is a universal and scalable information infrastructure controlled by the uniform operation rules. A significant part of the economic indicators of the digital traction substation is advanced diagnostics of equipment, timely condition-based repair, increased reliability due to duplication of information processes of management and protection, modeling and forecasting of equipment operating modes and condition. In this article, the authors attempt to develop approaches to the economic assessment of the application of digital information exchange technologies at electric power facilities of transport and determine the most effective digitization level for traction substations.
Currently, the task is to increase the capacity of the Russian Far Eastern Railway in the direction of ports on the Pacific Coast. This causes a significant increase in loads in the traction energy system, and under such conditions, the serviceability of the electric power infrastructure is crucial to ensure. In this regard, the stability of operation can be increased by improving the monitoring and diagnostics systems of the traction network elements. One of these elements is the electrical connection which has always been the most sensitive in the power grid. Therefore, the identification of factors that affect its failure, as well as the logic in maintenance and repair are relevant and significant not only for railway networks but for the electric power industry as a whole.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
