The main goal of college English education is to cultivate the students’ language ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and to promote the formation of individualized learning and autonomous ability of college students. At present, the new curriculum reform in our country has put forward a new educational requirement to college English teaching, which requires the innovation of college English teaching idea, and under the background of the development of new media, it proposes to use new media equipment to carry out teaching activities. However, college English education in our country is influenced by examination-oriented education mode, and the traditional education method is still used, which is not good for college students to improve their comprehensive quality of English. In view of this development situation, the Ministry of Education of China Based on the development of new media, a multimodal discourse analysis approach to college English education is proposed to enhance the level of College English teaching.

Purpose This study aims to analyze passenger service quality in Beijing West Railway Station from the perspective of passengers, to better understand the current service quality and obtain the areas of weakness for improvement. Design/methodology/approach The research investigates the passenger experience of service in Beijing West Railway Station by using a questionnaire survey. The service quality (SERVQUAL) evaluation method is used to analyze the survey data, and it divides the passenger service into 5 attributes with 20 indicators. This research uses the Likert five-level scale method to process data and calculates the SERVQUAL value and weight difference of each attribute to evaluate the passenger service. Therefore, the deficiencies have been pointed out, so the station manager can improve the passenger service accordingly. Findings It is indicated that among the five studied attributes, Beijing West Railway Station has the smallest service quality value in terms of timeliness, which means this part needs the largest improvement. To the five attributes, each lacks in station security check, ticketing efficiency, station identification accuracy, emergency processing of train delays and the restroom environment, respectively. Originality/value The research can provide specific suggestions for the optimization of the passenger service of Beijing West Railway Station, and provide reference information for the formulation of policies.

Coated diammonium phosphate (CDAP) is intended to release nutrients steadily in response to the demand of crop growth. A novel biostimulant extracted from Paecilomyces variotii has been shown to regulate gene expression in nutrient transport, enhance nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) uptake, and improve nutrient use efficiency. The application of CDAP combined with the Paecilomyces variotii extracts (ZNC) in maize is an efficient approach for reducing waste of resources, improving nutrient supply, and maintaining production stability. The effects of CDAP combined with ZNC on photosynthesis, enzyme activities, endogenous hormone content, maize yield, and P use efficiency (PUE) were investigated in this study. In a pot experiment, CDAP and diammonium phosphate (DAP) were tested together with P levels (1.80, 1.44 g pot –1 , P 2 O 5 ) and two ZNC application rates (0, 4.4 μg pot –1 ), which included the control treatment that had no P fertilizer added. Results showed that the key influencing elements of maize growth and yield were the soil available-P content, endogenous hormone content, and plant photosynthesis in this study. The combination of DAP and ZNC increased the soil available-P content and the auxin content in leaves at the key stage and hence increased the yield and PUE of maize, compared with DAP. The net photosynthetic rate of CDAP combined with ZNC was higher by 23.1% than that of CDAP alone, as well as by 32.0% than that of DAP combined with ZNC. Moreover, the combination of CDAP and ZNC increased the yield and PUE by 8.2% and 15.6 percentage points compared with DAP combined with ZNC while increasing the yield and PUE compared with CDAP. In conclusion, combining CDAP with ZNC as an environmentally friendly fertilizer could improve photosynthesis-related enzyme activity and enhance the net photosynthetic rate, resulting in an increase in maize yield and PUE significantly.
