Abstrak: Keterampilan menyelesaikan masalah adalah salah satu keterampilan penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh peserta didik untuk dapat melanjutkankan ke pendidikan yang lebih tinggi dan kebutuhan dimasa mendatang. Adapun instrumen penilaian yang baik diperlukan guru untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dicapai peserta didik. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian yang valid digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan menyelesaikan masalah peserta didik fisika berdasarkan para ahli dan uji empiris. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian R & D dengan pendekatan 4D. Penelitian ini menggunakan 7 orang validator dan subjek uji empiris terdiri atas 200 orang peserta didik kelas XI SMA. Data dikumpulkan dengan lembar validasi dan instrumen penilaian. Data hasil validasi ahli di analisis menggunakan V’Aiken, dan data uji empiris di analisis menggunakan teori respon butir. Adapun hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan telah valid menurut para ahli dengan nilai validasi antara 0,93 sampai 1. Adapun berdasarkan uji empiris didapatkan dari 15 butir pertanyaan tes terdapat 2 butir pertanyaan yang tidak valid dan harus dibuang. Nilai reliabilitas berdasarkan uji empiris adalah 0,83 berada pada kategori tinggi yang menunjukkan instrumen dapat digunakan. The good assessment instrument is needed by the teacher to determine the level of knowledge and skills achieved by the students. The purpose of this study is to produce a valid assessment instrument used to measure problem solving skills of physics students based on experts and empirical tests. This type of research is an R & D study with a 4D approach. This study uses 7 validators and empirical test subjects consisting of 200 students of class XI senior high school. Data is collected with validation sheets and assessment instruments. The data from expert validation were analyzed using V’Aiken, and empirical test data was analyzed using item response theory. The results of the study explain that the assessment instruments developed have been valid according to experts with validation values between 0.93 to 1. As for the empirical tests obtained from 15 test questions there are 2 items that are invalid and must be discarded. The reliability value based on the empirical test is0.83 in the high category which shows the instrument can be used.Keywords: Developing and Validation, Instrument Test, Problem Solving Skills
This study aimed to determine the blended learning model's effectiveness using Moodle on the human respiratory system learning material's independence and student learning outcomes. This research type is a quasi-experimental type nonequivalent control group design with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The observation results showed that the experimental class learning independence average was better than the control class. This is in line with the results of the student learning independence questionnaire. The average value of cognitive learning outcomes through the t-test shows a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. The analysis of the improvement in students' cognitive learning outcomes showed that the experimental class was more significant than the control class in the moderate category. Based on this, it can be concluded that blended learning using Moodle is useful for student independence and learning outcomes.
This study aims to describe the literacy ability of grade VIII students of SMP N 2 Plantungan in solving row and series problems reviewed from gender. The intended literacy skills are 1) communication skills, 2) mathematical skills, 3) problem-solving strategy skills, 4) symbol, formal, and technical language operation skills, and 5) reasoning and conclusion skills. The subjects of this study were one male student and one female student of grade VIII SMP N 2 Plantungan who were selected based on the highest score, and had good communication skills in solving the test questions that had been given. Research data sources from test results, interviews, and documentation. Data trianggualation is used to test the validity of data. This study showed that female students met all five literacy indicators tested, but male students only met four indicators of mathematical literacy ability. The thing that distinguishes this achievement is that male students have not fulfilled the ability to reason and reason. For the next research, you can conduct research on mathematical literacy skills with a focus on not many indicators so as to provide an in-depth description of the discussion.
This study aims to investigate the effect of drawing and coloring activities on improving early childhood cognitive abilities. Drawing and coloring activities are considered as fun and creative activities for children, but they also have the potential to improve their cognitive abilities. The research method used was an experiment with a control group. Fifty children aged 4-6 years were randomly selected and divided into two groups, namely the experimental group which did drawing and coloring activities, and the control group which did not. The experimental group was given a series of drawing and coloring tasks designed to engage various cognitive aspects such as color recognition, hand-eye coordination, problem solving, and spatial understanding. Meanwhile, the control group was involved in daily routine activities without any special intervention. Before and after the intervention, both groups were given cognitive ability tests which included tests of memory, problem solving, and understanding of basic concepts. The results showed that the group of children who did drawing and coloring activities experienced a significant increase in cognitive abilities compared to the control group. They showed better improvements in memory tests, problem solving, and understanding basic concepts. In addition, children in the experimental group also showed an increase in their creativity and imagination. These findings indicate that drawing and coloring activities can be an effective method of improving early childhood cognitive abilities. Therefore, it is suggested that these activities be integrated in the early childhood education curriculum to enrich their learning experience and promote optimal cognitive development.
