Liver enzyme abnormalities in patients with COVID-19 are associated with disease severity. Patients with liver enzyme abnormalities have higher A-aDO2 and GGT, lower albumin and decreased circulating CD4+ T cells and B lymphocytes. SARS-CoV-2 is able to infect the liver and cause conspicuous hepatic cytopathy. Massive apoptosis and binuclear hepatocytes were the predominant histological features of SARS-CoV-2-infected liver.
A water-mediated C–H activation using sulfoxonium ylides is reported, providing a general, green and step-economic approach to construct a C–C bond and varieties of useful N-heterocycle scaffolds.
A new and metal-free cross-coupling reaction between sulfoximines and N-(phenylthio)-succinimides was developed in water, afforded an efficient route for the synthesis of N-sulfenyl sulfoximines. This transformation provides N-sulfenyl sulfoximines with good functional group tolerance and moderate to excellent yields. Moreover, this protocol can be easily scaled up to the gram level with excellent yield.
We report a novel and practical one-pot Rh(III)-catalyzed
strategy
to construct benzimidazo[1,2-a]quinolines from readily
available imidamides and anthranils. The cascade reaction proceeds
via a C–H amination–cyclization–cyclization process
in ionic liquid without any additives and possesses simple operation,
moderate-to-high yield, and broad substrate scope features, which
will provide the reference for the construction of biologically active
fused benzimidazoles.
A micron‐scale palladium(II) material has been successfully prepared using Schiff base‐modified hexagonal boron nitride as a support and used for the first time as an efficient and recyclable catalyst in organic synthesis. The morphology, composition, metal loading and thermal stability of the catalyst were studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), inductively coupled plasma (ICP) and thermogravimetric (TG) analyses. Then, the micron material was tested in various C–C cross‐coupling reactions and exhibited excellent catalytic activities in the Suzuki and Heck reactions. Moreover, the catalyst could be easily recovered by simple filtration and reused at least ten times without significant loss of its catalytic activity. In general, this work demonstrates the possibility of using Schiff‐base@hexagonal boron nitride as an efficient support for heterogeneous catalysts.magnified image
A general protocol for the N‐thioetherification of NH‐sulfoximines has been developed. Catalyzed by [Cu(DMAP)4I]I, N‐sulfenyl sulfoximines were synthesized by a one‐pot cascade reaction with commercially available thiophenols as the sulfur source at room temperature. The protocol has mild reaction conditions, is operationally simple, and affords the corresponding products with good yields and excellent tolerance of functional groups.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
