A One‐Pot Cascade Reaction by Combining NH‐Sulfoximines with Thiophenols Under Mild Conditions

Abstract: A general protocol for the N‐thioetherification of NH‐sulfoximines has been developed. Catalyzed by [Cu(DMAP)4I]I, N‐sulfenyl sulfoximines were synthesized by a one‐pot cascade reaction with commercially available thiophenols as the sulfur source at room temperature. The protocol has mild reaction conditions, is operationally simple, and affords the corresponding products with good yields and excellent tolerance of functional groups.
