Submitted article deals with the effect of selected technological parameters on the quality and dimensional accuracy of prototype castings made by Patternless process technology. During experiments were used two types of molding compounds (foamed gypsum and compound based on silica sand and resin). Experiments were focused on optimization of cutting parameters in terms of efficiency, accuracy and possibilities to minimize tool wear. Article deals also with the dimensional and shape accuracy of the castings made by Z-Cast technology. The main aim of the research is to optimize Patternless process technology to such an extent, that achieved dimensional and shape accuracy will be comparable to castings made by the Z-Cast technology. Keywords: silica sand, patternless process, cutting parameters, gypsumArtykuł dotyczy wybranych parametrów technologicznych, które wpływają na jakość i dokładność wymiarową odlewów prototypowych wykonanych technologią bezmodelową.
The paper is devoted to the study of thermal, as well as mechanical properties of polyurethane samples (PU) filled by carbon black (CB), graphite (G) and MWCNT(CNT). Thermal conductivity k(W.m-1.K-1), specific heat capacity cp(J.kg-1.K-1) and thermal diffusivity a(mm2.s-1) were measured by the impulse method. An increase of all the above mentioned thermal parameters after addition of fillers under investigation was observed. The dc electrical conductivity drastically increases from PUPU+CBPU+GPU+CNT.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
