Podríamos haber elegido entre miles de citas para abrir este monográfico, pero cuando esta publicación estaba a punto de llegar a su fin (o a su comienzo según se mire), unas palabras del periodista Iñaki Gabilondo en una entrevista radiofónica sintetizaron como pocas el sentido de esta obra: "La música y la poesía son vecinas de rellano". Esta frase justifica por sí sola este trabajo en el que se han visto implicados durante varios meses -aunque recogiendo los frutos de varios años-una serie de autores desconocidos entre sí, pero unidos por un objetivo común: aprovechar la literatura clásica que contiene la música moderna para acercarla a los estudiantes de todas las edades, pero en especial a los niños y adolescentes de hoy en día.Sí. Las canciones que escuchan los alumnos en su tiempo libre contienen literatura, por lo que son un puente ideal para cruzar la distancia (cognitiva y emocional) que les separa de los textos clásicos presentes en el currículo educativo.Mendoza Fillola (1993) destacaba hace ya más de un cuarto de siglo la necesidad de buscar nuevos procedimientos y enfoques en la enseñanza de la literatura "para tratar motivadoramente cuestiones de intertextualidad, a través de un aprendizaje significativo y, a la vez, multicultural, que ponga de manifiesto la actividad receptora del lector/espectador y las conexiones entre diversas artes" (p. 333). Como señalaba este autor, las conexiones culturales entre distintas manifestaciones artísticas alcanzan tanto la forma (componentes y rasgos estilísticos, estructura, tipología textual y de géneros, etc.), como el contenido (temas, tópicos, recursos semánticos, etc.).Nuestra propuesta didáctica, o mejor dicho, las propuestas didácticas que recoge este monográfico, porque cada una lo hace desde un enfoque diferente, tratan de explorar un camino metodológico apenas transitado que parte de los gustos musicales de los propios estudiantes, es decir, del mundo interior que reclaman entre otros Robinson y Aronica (2015), para desembocar en los textos literarios clásicos presentes en el currículo. Y lo hace además aprovechando un contexto transmedia cada vez más presente en la vida de los alumnos que debe llevarse también 2
Presentamos en este capítulo dos experiencias llevadas a cabo durante los últimos años en un instituto de enseñanza media de Varsovia, el Liceo José Martí; y con alumnos de la Universidad Maria Curie-Sklodowska, de Lublin, ambos de Polonia, apoyándonos en la importancia de la motivación en el proceso de aprendizaje de una segunda lengua. En el primer caso hemos trabajado en la enseñanza del español con la literatura española de la Edad Media, el Siglo de Oro y la Ilustración, con escritores como Lope de Vega, Luis de Góngora, Francisco de Quevedo... y su relación con las letras de las canciones actuales, de autores como Sabina, Juanes, Alejandro Sanz, etc. A partir de ahí se ha trabajado con los recursos lingüísticos y literarios que aparecen tanto en las obras literarias como en las canciones. Por otro lado, y en la misma línea, hemos vinculado la enseñanza de ELE con las artes dramáticas, a través de las técnicas teatrales como método que involucra el cuerpo, las emociones, la acción y, por supuesto, los procesos cognitivos, con lo cual el cuerpo a través de los gestos refuerza los contenidos lingüísticos. Para ello, hemos utilizado la película Ocho apellidos vascos, empleando algunas de sus escenas en la dramatización por parte de nuestros alumnos como forma de acercarnos a la lengua española, a la cultura y a las costumbres. Creemos que el uso de las técnicas teatrales debería ser una herramienta habitual de la enseñanza, y más aún en la de las segundas lenguas, pues el aprendiz ha de imbuirse en el papel asignado, asumirlo, comprenderlo, racionalizar lo que significa en su entorno, y expresar a través de la lengua el rol que ha de representar.
Este artículo propone la explotación didáctica, lingüística y cultural de canciones y videoclips. Por un lado, esta metodología (Cristóbal, 2017 y Cristóbal, Sanjuán, y Villanueva 2019) permite introducir los contenidos literarios de la poesía española clásica a través de las canciones que escuchan los alumnos (métrica, rima, esquemas, temas, tópicos literarios, vocabulario y recursos literarios). Por otra parte, los códigos semióticos de los videoclips expanden el sentido de las canciones con nuevos significados, matices y referentes culturales creando un nuevo texto que vamos a descomponer, reinterpretar y recrear en el aula.
